New type of training this morning. I have successfully completed a course in Preventing Bribery in Business. Phew!
Reflecting as another school year ends. Memories have popped up on social media. 6 years ago I was described as a gentle leader and quietly assertive. With everything that has happened, I had forgotten those descriptions.
Just over 6 months. Never been happier. Spain, Italy, Canada and the USA. Really enjoying supporting schools with their safeguarding. Getting to grips with commuting and office life. Health improved. Strange how things can change so completely and unexpectedly.
Good luck to all Primary schools as the results come back today. Hope you don’t get the wheel of doom on PAG! Happy days!
I think the PM is a genuine guy. Great speech. A government of service. I hope so. Certainly feeling more hopeful than I have for a long time! Not going to be easy!!

Today’s journey to work took me past Benidorm. Never thought that would happen. Great trip across Spain over the past week. Asturias, Almería, Elche, Cumbre del Sol and finally Vila-Real. What a road trip.
Long weekend starts tomorrow. I have realised it’s the first time in my life I have gone away during term time! Pretty momentous!!

You can improve your heart rate by reducing stress. Four months into my new job, heart rate coming down (and staying down) for the first time in years.
Seattle. Had such a good time. Even saw a family of bald 🦅 and watched them hunting for an hour. Photo is rubbish but the specks are genuine bald eagles over Lake Sammamish.
First social event later with my new colleagues . First social event where I am not paying for it. That’s something to get my head around.
