⚡ Southern Middle School Power Outage
The power outage is affecting Southern Middle School only. All other Moore County Schools will remain on a normal schedule.
We have received information from Duke Energy that an underground wire is broken, causing the outage. The estimated repair time is 4-8 hours.
Due to this information and the lack of air conditioning, Southern Middle School will dismiss bus riders at 1 p.m. Parents are welcome to begin checking out students through the car rider line starting at 12:30 p.m.
All after-school activities at Southern Middle School have been canceled.
We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our Southern Middle School families and staff during this time.
