That’s not how I understood him. I understood him to be decrying that she earned the electorate’s positive regard for all the good work her coalition did, and that everyone else (including ANC MMC’s) is said to have been useless. He may be annoyed, but he’s not entirely wrong. The numbers support his view.

A recount of the votes in Ward 15 of the Buffalo City Metro broke the deadlock between the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and the Democratic Alliance (DA). tinyurl.com/2x2nxm8d

I have been advocating for that. We have a very huge media following across all social media platforms, including intellectuals that can influence public perception, which we can leverage for that. Towards 2029 we need to control the narrative aggressively. 🤞🏾
For 2029 elections, the EFF must put together a war room of influencers and pay them well to counter the de campaigning we experience every elections. It's a must.

THE EFF MUST INVEST IN DIGITAL MEDIA‼️‼️‼️ In my analysis, Gauteng’s decline must also be examined against the backdrop of heavily sponsored social media campaigns directed against the EFF. The influence of digital media in shaping political discourse and public perception can no longer be underestimated. Fighters, in our 2019 NPA Discussion Document, the EFF made an honest reflection about the media environment and the challenges confronting the organisation. Some of the observations made in that document remain particularly relevant today. The document states: "A key lesson in the power of social media and how it can be used, abused and misused to influence behaviour is related to elections." It further observes that: "The propaganda war is much more sophisticated, systematic and centrally coordinated." And acknowledges that: "There has been a sustained campaign to discredit the ideas of the EFF, its programmes and leadership." Seven years later, these observations deserve renewed attention. Fighters cannot afford to underestimate the power of digital media or the influence of coordinated information campaigns. Yes, we have made significant strides, but we can do much better. We must invest in digital media, strengthen our communications infrastructure and establish a dedicated unit to monitor, expose and counter misinformation and disinformation through facts, research and effective communication. We must move beyond merely reacting to narratives about the organisation. We must have the capacity to communicate our ideas, defend our record, explain our programmes and engage the public consistently across all digital platforms. The struggle is also taking place in the digital space. Our organisation must organise, resource and equip itself accordingly. #EFFPolitics101

I can’t believe Helen Zille moved from Cape Town six months before elections to become Mayor of Johannesburg but the people of Tshwane wanted to burn the whole city when Thoko Didiza who was staying in Tshwane for more than ten years was supposed to be Mayor of Tshwane merely because he was labelled as a “Zulu person” but Helen is getting away with it because she is white, white people created for themselves a privilege of belonging anywhere without being questioned based on language or anything.

The vigilance of EFF party agent defeated thuggery and IEC cader deployment. Her story was clear and stood by her truth without fear or favour as a result Ward 15 BCM is now an EFF ward. 🙏🏽. Thank you EFF groundforces 🥰

The CIC Julius Malema still gets a little bit emotional, rightfully so, when he responds to Floyd... sharing a meal with someone wishing you dead for more than a decade is never a small thing... #EFFPresser
