The problem is ppl expect abuse victims to behave in ways that make their victimhood obvious but coercion can make someone defend their abuser, contradict themselves, or even conceal information. The very adaptations they develop to survive are reasons ppl blame or distrust them
Everyone loves to act like they’re educated on narcissistic abuse trauma bonds, limerence and narcissists — until they’re literally witnessing that type of abusive relationship play out. Now all of a sudden the victim is “bird”, “stupid”, “doing it for dick”, “doing it for clout” etc. As if every single hallmark of an abusive relationship isn’t being put on complete display.
