🫀New research demonstrates that high-throughput, label-free optical oxygen measurements can assess adrenergic effects in iPSC-derived #cardiomyocytes.
Paired with all-optical #electrophysiology, this enables scalable, human-based preclinical testing.

We developed sex-specific atrial myocyte models that reveal that female AFib patients might be more prone to delayed afterdepolarizations, and males more vulnerable to alternans, with distinct mechanisms and drug responses: doi.org/10.1113/JP289425
