Most of us leave O'Hare with a delay and a $14 sandwich. This guy left with a kitten. Missed his connection, stepped out for a cigar, and a 3-week-old stray ran up and climbed on his foot. His daughter DoorDashed a kennel to the airport, United charged $150, and the cat is now named Macanudo O'Hare. Harry for short. My kids would've had it named before I finished taking the photo.

No way a deer ran over a lady in a laundromat parking lot then jumped through the window and stood on the washers like it had a load to do 😂 thank God nobody got hurt. Here in Ohio it's the same thing this time of year, they're running everywhere and don't care where they are, so slow down at dusk and keep your eyes up because ain't nobody budgeting for a new bumper

Holy shit, a ship's on fire in the Strait of Hormuz and they're saying tankers might've hit mines, you know what that means, gas goes up again, if you've got room in the tank fill up now

When I got married 6 years ago we spent $150 for two weeks of food. Now that barely covers snacks for the kids. I spend $300 a week, often going over 😅, just to keep the house stocked.

Fed holds rates, and two members wanted to go higher. That's rough news for Gen Z. Homes already cost way more than starting pay can cover, and high rates just slam the door harder. Wages have to come up, or a whole generation rents forever.

Spain's train crash is up to 68 dead, and it gets worse. The signal system went down, and someone in the control center told a high-speed train to go ahead at normal speed with a red light showing. 20 minutes later it hit a stopped train. Hard to read.

Scrapping the methane rules isn't going to lower your gas price, and anyone selling it that way is stretching it. 210 million barrels is about 10 days of US oil use. Good news for small well owners, sure. But pump prices are riding on the Middle East mess, not on a leak-reporting rule.

Awful news out of Spain this morning. A high-speed train slammed into the back of a stopped train south of Madrid. At least 30 dead, around 80 hurt, and officials are saying that number is going to go up. Over 500 people were on those two trains.

Everybody's freaking out over the Pentagon's FORTRESS plan, getting bases ready to run 90 days on their own if something major hits, while the UK is telling people to stockpile. That's not a reason to panic. It's just smart. If it does scare you, take it as your sign to start prepping. Get food that won't spoil, water, and a way to make fire. Besides shelter, that's what matters most to keep your family safe if the worst ever happens.

Anthropic going public right after posting an $80.7B loss? Feels like they need a lot more cash, fast. Revenue's up big, but so is the burn. Grab investor money while the AI hype is hot. Would you buy in?

Anthropic's IPO filing is out, and the numbers are wild: $16.29 billion in revenue in the first half of 2026, up from $1.16 billion a year earlier. It also reported an $80.7B net loss, mostly a $72.4B non-cash accounting charge. The AI money race just went public. 📈

Meta just announced plans to raise up to $95 BILLION by selling stock to pay for its AI build-out. About $35B is being raised now and about $60B more is planned later. Nvidia, AMD and Broadcom have shown interest in buying up to $5B of it. The AI money race just went up another level.
