I walked out of the stadium after Purdue thinking this season was dead in the water. Unbelievable job from Bielema and this defensive staff to win four straight and salvage the season. Bowling for a third year in a row. These are the good old days.

We’re all entitled to our opinions. Several people have messaged me, privately and publicly, about firing Bret Bielema.
You’re never going to get me to agree. I remember what Illinois football was like before him.
The past few years, Bielema was untouchable. He didn’t forget how to coach in nine months.
Upgrade the talent…the coaching is there. Firing coaches isn’t always the answer, especially in this case.
