Good Morning CT 🌞
1/3 The Gap Angle @vangrid_io
Satellites see rooftops. Mapping fleets see roads.
Nobody sees the staircase the loading bay, or the market street at ground level.
That's the gap Vangrid is going after for Physical AI.
→ People record short phone videos
→ Faces and plates are blurred on the device
→ A 3D model gets built
→ The fingerprint is anchored on Base
Robots will need this kind of data. Text alone wont get us there.
So I just went down a rabbit hole of .AI domain names...
Now Almost allll of these companies I found would never need an .AI domain
buttttt 👀
TGIFridays.AI IS available for $200 for 2 years 🤣
How about a gift card for setting you up right for the future @TGIFridays haha

2/3 The Agent Angle
An AI agent can now hire a human and pay in USDC for a real-world capture.
No account. No API key. Just an HTTP call and x402 payment.
That's what Vangrid launched with Arc (Circle) in September.
Machines paying humans for physical-world work sounds odd today. It may become normal infrastructure.
3/3 The Honest Take
Vangrid is one of the more interesting Physical AI projects, and also worth reading carefully.
Whats real
→ 1.25M+ captures
→ ~$600K USDC settled
→ A public explorer anyone can check
Whats not here yet
→ $VAN isn't live
→ PTC points don't convert to $VAN per the official docs
→ The $9M round was SAFT-based
→ "3B+ nodes" is the potential market, not current scale
Real traction, early token story. I'd watch the agent side most closely.
END

A potential slip by the Binance attacker? @MetaMask should preserve whatever web2 logs they can.
The attacker sent 175M USDT to a fresh wallet.
About 2.5 minutes later, that wallet also received 2 ETH. Likely for gas, matching the pattern used with their other attack wallets.
Exactly two minutes after that, it used MetaMask's Gas Station. Despite already having gas.
Three consecutive transactions landed in the same block: an ETH top-up from Gas Station, an unlimited USDT approval for @KyberNetwork's router, and a payment of 127.67 USDT to Gas Station.
The ETH top up exactly matched the combined maximum gas budgets of the Kyber approval and the USDT payment. Down to the wei.
But they already had more than enough ETH to cover both.
My theory: they were using MetaMask Wallet and, while rushing, selected USDT for gas by mistake
MetaMask sometimes defaults like this for convenience. And the same block top-up sequence matches how their implementation works.
To use Gas Station in MetaMask you have to use MetaMask Sentinel. Meaning the transactions go through them, not a regular RPC.
That interaction probablly left offchain records with MetaMask, potentially including IP metadata.
Among all the attacker wallets I checked, this was the only one showing Gas Station usage.
The wallet: 0xAa246BF639586a6Ba46762D378CE50cA4fc654a0
Binance hot wallet drained of more than $2.5 billion in USDT, ETH, and 62 other tokens.
• Transaction was from a wallet funded by Tornado Cash on October 28th, leading me to believe it was a hack.
• Was an EIP-7702 delegation takeover followed by a batch sweep 3 and a half minutes later.
• Signature was valid meaning it could have been a stolen key or compromised signer. I didn't see any initial evidence of something like a signature verification bypass.
Transaction: etherscan.io/tx/0x53bd38b816…
Recent Crypto Hacks — Verified Numbers (as of Oct 30, 2026)
• Binance — Estimated $5.5–5.9 billion drained (Oct 29, 2026). Largest crypto exchange hack on record. Roughly $3B already frozen. User funds are safe and will be fully covered.
• Bybit — ~$1.5 billion (Feb 21, 2025). Official FBI figure. Attributed to North Korea. User funds were covered by the exchange.
• Bitget — ~$387–388 million (Sep 24, 2026). Bitget’s final confirmed figure (not $1B). Hot/warm wallets. Covered by the protection fund.
• Swyftx — No confirmed hack. Official statement: no evidence of any breach. The “$10M hack” claims are false rumors.
• Polymarket — ~$2.6–2.73 million (Oct 29, 2026). Frontend / third-party provider (DebugBear) compromised. ~700 users affected. Company says all affected users will be reimbursed.
Are these incidents really just “hacks,” or is there a much bigger game behind them? 🤔
One after another, major exchanges and crypto platforms are reporting hacks. So many incidents happening around the same time is it really just a coincidence?

HYPERLIQUID
Say it back 🫵
Intercontinental Exchange (ICE) and trade[XYZ] have announced their plan to use Hyperliquid as the infrastructure layer to deploy perpetual futures markets for US traders across crypto, equities, commodities, foreign exchange, and other real-world assets, subject to regulatory approvals. ICE operates NYSE and some of the largest exchanges and clearing houses globally.
In this structure:
+ Hyperliquid serves as the underlying technology infrastructure via HIP-3*
+ trade[XYZ] designs and implements the markets
+ ICE operates the regulated market and clearing structure
Existing trade[XYZ] HIP-3 markets will remain unchanged.
Hyperliquid is a neutral infrastructure layer with the goal of supporting large parts of the financial system. As with HIP-3, HIP-3* deployers are independent operators who use Hyperliquid as the onchain infrastructure layer for their own markets, while retaining control and responsibility over their deployment.

One Polymarket trader stacked $417K on BTC 5-minute markets.
Not from one big bet from nearly 100,000 small trades.
Buying cheap contracts and letting them settle.
Right now the 5-min markets look like this:
$BTC → 59% Up
$ETH → 64% Up
$SOL → 52% Up
ETH is the most confident of the three.
These markets move extremely fast. A few minutes of price action can flip the odds completely.
Most people treat them like a casino.
Some treat them like a high-frequency edge.
Do these short-term markets still have an edge, or are they getting too crowded?
