Today marks 5 years of building @_StudioMirai. It's honestly a bit surreal. 5 years ago, we were a 1:1 collection dropping one Tamashi a day and trying to build a community. 5 years later, we’ve built a global community. We’ve hosted insane events around the world, curated partners we can genuinely call friends, and earned consistent recognition from the @SuiNetwork and @Mysten_Labs. A huge thank you to the @SuiFoundation and Mysten Labs for believing in what we’re building. And a special thank you to @EmanAbio for taking a chance on us at the Vietnam event in 2024. We really put everything on the line and that moment really changed things for us. Through all of it, the people who stuck with us in the beginning are still here today. Over these 5 years I’ve watched some of you get married, land your dream jobs and move into your dream homes. Some of you have had kids. I got to be a small part of that growth, and it means more to me than I can put into words. Some of you have put “Mirai” in your kids’ names. One of you told me your firstborn son is going to be named Kotaro. I've become the godfather to like 4 children. It’s insane to think that could even happen, and to that have closeness with strangers all around the world. One IP. One community. One project for 5 years. We’ve always built in a way that does right by the community. Holy shit, what a build. At times it gets really tiring. I don’t think anything can prepare you for this space. But knowing these people and meeting the person behind the PFP is what keeps me going. Everyone in Studio Mirai is my family. This week I was at a music conference in LA. I had to introduced myself as Ben for the first time and grinded for adoption opportunities for @_misofm, and through Miso, for Studio Mirai. I yapped for 3 days straight. I learned a lot about both product and narrative. I also talked to some really big household names about possible collabs. Completely different beast, honestly. I’m thankful for every memory Studio Mirai has given me. It’s the reason I can be in those rooms having those conversations at all. On the Studio Mirai side: Enforcer Machin is still in production. Things have slowed down, of course, because it’s all hands on deck for Miso. Shipping Miso means a future where people can interact with our NFT ecosystem without it being tied to market sentiment. We’re building a future where BEAR MARKETS DON'T EXIST. No more excuses. So this anniversary looks a little different. There’s no grand Twitter space and no giveaways. Everyone on the team is heads down and locked in, and most of that work isn’t even happening in the web3 space right now. The real celebration will have to come at a later date. I just appreciate every one of you for letting us build this way. I know I don’t have to rush things, because it’s Studio Mirai. Cheers to the team and happy 5th to the best community in the world~ 🥂 Kotaro

oh? 🪂

The best thing about Mirai has always been its people. Best community on Sui.

A strong takeaway from the @_misofm Space today: Music is a universal language, and what we’re building reaches beyond this space. Miso’s success isn’t tied to crypto market conditions. @_StudioMirai has built through two bear markets. We’ll build through the next. Market cycles won’t change our conviction, our commitment, or the future we’re working toward. If there’s one thing you should know by now, it’s this: the Mirai brothers do not give up. We’re one of the few NFT teams still standing since Sui mainnet, and we’re just getting now started. We haven’t given up, and we won’t stop until Miso changes the way the world experiences music. We believe deeply in that vision and in our ability to make it real. Miso’s success will be Studio Mirai’s success. Every step forward strengthens the vision we’ve been building together and the community that helped make it possible. That commitment extends to the Mirai IP itself. Our ambitions for this world and its characters are still very much alive. Enforcer Machin upgrades, merchandise, and the Nozomi IP remain in the pipeline. We’re a small team working toward a big vision, and we appreciate your patience as we give each part of it the care it deserves. Believing in us means believing in something bigger: a future where music, art, and storytelling bring people together, with a vision that lasts beyond any market cycle. To every Tamashi and Machin holder, whether you’ve supported us since day one or are just joining us: you’re all part of this movement. nitter.cf/i/spaces/1qxvvebrwaBxB…

Studio Mirai was here when Sui was at ATL. Studio Mirai was here when Sui was at ATH. We were, we are, and we will continue to be on @SuiNetwork. This is our home. Price action has never defined our commitment to this ecosystem or the Mirai community. I’ve watched projects come and go. Teams raise, extract, disappear, then come back when there’s something to gain. Rinse and repeat. With Basecamp around the corner, be intentional with where you put your energy. Support the teams that stay active. Invest in the teams that invest just as much back into the community. Pay attention to those who keep showing up regardless of market conditions. Time goes by much quicker in this space. Spend it on those who spend theirs on the ecosystem.

Studio Mirai remains one of the longest-running NFT projects on @SuiNetwork. Even in this market, Tamashi 047 just sold OTC for 5,200 $SUI. Every cycle, the people who stick around when times get tough prove to be the true believers. Show us you’re still here. 👇👇👇

These times have a way of reminding you what really matters. I don’t think we talked about crypto once last night. It was just a group of old friends sharing dinner, drinks, and good conversations. @MrEncrypto flew all the way from Europe with his family to visit our office and spend time with the community. Having a place where holders can stop by, hang out, and share a meal together is something I’m genuinely grateful for. One of my favorite moments of the night was hearing @kaakoon_sui share that he and his wife are expecting their first child. Two years ago, he was a new face at one of the first Sui events we hosted. Today, he’s someone we get to celebrate one of life’s biggest milestones with. That’s pretty freakin’ cool. We also had our Japan OGs, @dq1030984091 and @Aki_san_5, who have probably been to 99% of every Mirai event we’ve hosted here. True day-one Studio Mirai Japan supporters. We even got to hear their karaoke skills. Aki also brought along Ko, a new holder, which is exactly the kind of organic community growth you love to see. And of course, it wouldn’t be a sake night without our honorary Italian, @ngiotcg, spending his last night in Japan with us. Definitely a great night alongside team members, @_smbrian and @_smcosmonaut. Markets come and go. Community is what stays. CC. @_StudioMirai @SuiCommunity
