the first game i worked on in my career was the rock band franchise, which had weekly DLC drops for years so was effectively a live game. licensed music was core to the experience, and as a CM on it i frequently had to come back to this: licensing is hard and we can't say much!

Yesterday, we introduced you to Backend Tunables, a system that lets us get small balance changes in your hands quicker, in between patches.
To help show you this system in action, we're prepping some buffs for The Good Guy to put him in a better place for the long term:

We welcomed The Good Guy out of his box and into The Fog nearly three years ago, but it's now time for the Chucky Chapter to leave the shelf.
On November 24, 2026, the Chapter and its associated content will be removed from in-game and first-party stores. Any content unlocked before that date will remain available to use in-game.
To celebrate his time in The Fog, the content of the Chapter will be on sale on all platforms starting on Monday, October 26, giving you a chance to unlock the Character and Cosmetics before they leave the store.
