The Prime Minister said unions never protested over salary negotiations and/or back pay for the last ten years, and have only chosen to do so now because they wish to push racial divide.

From sponsoring a religious festival village to trying to undermine your Alma mater’s fundraisers to actual murder and arson.

“One of the most underrated skills you can learn is the ability to ignore your mood and stick with the plan.”
There’s something strange about seeing more than 20 years of your life condensed into one newspaper page.

I’m grateful to the @GuardianTT for this feature to mark Calypso History Month.

The dignity we want for ourselves must be the dignity we demand for everybody.
That is the conviction Barbados brings to the world. Solidarity means coming together. Justice means being fair.
Thank you, Mayor @ZohranKMamdani, for your generous words and for bringing us together to put those values to work.
As for the cricket lessons, those must happen in Barbados!

And when Slinger done with they tail
Hear them shouting,
'Don't go! Sparrow don't go!' "
