🚀 Ms. Tayal’s 4th graders blasted off into science today! Students created planets as they explored our solar system, comparing planetary characteristics and building their understanding of Earth’s place in space. We love integrating the arts!🪐🌎✨ @FultonCoSchools @FultonZone5 @Sara4fcs @ArtsNOW1

🎃✏️ First graders are bringing their pumpkin characters to life through visual arts and descriptive writing! Students created unique pumpkin characters, while teachers modeled the writing process and provided rich vocabulary to help young authors craft detailed descriptions. @FultonCoSchools @FultonZone5

What a day! 🎉🍂🏃💦 Huge thanks to our amazing PTO for organizing an unforgettable Fun Run & Fall Bash! Students ran their hearts out, enjoyed snacks, played games, and even got to soak some brave teachers! 😆 As an extra celebration, students with perfect attendance for the past month got to spin the SGC Attendance Wheel to win a gift card! 🎡🎁 Thank you for making our school community so much fun! @FultonZone5 @Sara4fcs @FultonCoSchools

☀️ Our amazing teachers volunteered to get SOAKED with cups of water to help raise money for our PTO! 💦 While the sun was shining, the wind made it feel much colder than expected! In September, our students focused on the character trait of Compassion. Compassion means showing kindness, empathy, and understanding toward others, and our Owl of the Month recipients demonstrated these qualities each and every day. Whether they were helping a classmate, including others, or showing care and respect to those around them, these students exemplified what it means to be a compassionate member of our school community.
