Year 8 were very lucky to have a talk from author @hamedamiri1989 yesterday. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us, Hamed. The pupils took a lot from it and your story, resilience and advice was very inspiring. @EnglishWhitmore @WHSdog @WhitmoreHigh

It's that time of year again when years 7 & 8 complete another STAR test. Although @AccReader is not an intervention tool, just by reading for 20 minutes a day our pupils make phenomenal progress. Here are the standings so far! @EnglishWhitmore @WhitmoreHigh @whitmorehigh8

Incredibly proud of our generous pupils & staff for donating a huge amount to our food bank collection. Photos do not do justice, we filled half a van! This will really help our local community 🥰 I hope another teacher will continue next year! @WhitmoreHigh @TrussellTrust
