Reading area overhaul! 📚✨ A cosy little refresh as we begin learning about different celebrations 🎃🪔🎆 From spooky stories to Diwali and Bonfire Night, plenty of books and props to spark curiosity, encourage conversation and explore how different families celebrate. 💛

Block play on a whole new scale! 🧱🙌 Reception worked together to create body outlines with wooden blocks, exploring shape, length and space. Lots of teamwork, talk and problem-solving through play! 🤎 #EYFS #LearningThroughPlay #BlockPlay

🎨 Big brushes, big movements, big creativity! 🖌️ Our outdoor artists used long-handled brushes to reach high, sweep across and make colourful marks together! 💙 These large movements support shoulder strength and stability, helping develop the control needed for writing.

🎂 Drawing Club 🎂 This week, the children drew Mrs Griffiths a birthday cake! 🥳 We loved discussing all the different fillings and decorations we could add—chocolate, strawberries, sprinkles and lots of delicious icing! Mmmm… delicious! 😋
