I can’t believe i am sharing this 🤦🏻♀️ The one laughing in the video is my teenage daughter 😃. I spent 2 hours creating a google slide for the letter A and they hated it. It took me 2 seconds to come up with this song and they loved it. @tdsbvs #WhateverItTakes

Syllables on paper were a struggle, but the moment I brought out the cars? He read every single one! That little switch turned the whole lesson around. Learning isn't one-size-fits-all. When we connect it to what they love, they thrive @brookhaven_ps #SmallSuccess #EarlyLiteracy
Celebrating the power of unity in diversity! 🎉 Our monthly Assembly at @brookhaven_ps featured stunning performances that honored Islamic, Latin, and Somali Heritage. Witnessing these cultures find similarities was truly inspiring! ❤️@MmeAhluwalia
For Islamic & latin Heritage month, Mrs. Karim created a banner that bridges Islamic and Latin cultures. She paired Kufic (Arabic geometric calligraphy) with Alhabsyi, a Kufic-inspired Latin font that translates Kufic's symmetry and rhythm to the Latin alphabet @brookhaven_ps
Shout out to the teachers who understand that collaboration will beat competition every time. Those who lift each other up, supporting, encouraging, celebrating and helping everyone around them. The sky is brighter when every star has space to shine. #Frenchteam @brookhaven_ps
Leadership means seeing a challenge & finding ways to make it better. Thx @KiranChohan28 for the simple but brilliant idea of using traffic signs to solve our hallway issues & @BPSGym_Fidler for playground rules in both English & French, helping make @brookhaven_ps a safer space.
When you have a passionate Sk French Immersion teacher at your school, by Grade 1 you get students who already know the National Anthem in French🇨🇦❤️ So proud of them and you @MmeAhluwalia @brookhaven_ps @TDSB_French @sdvlil #ProudMoment

This is a special moment in my journey as a teacher—the day my mentee, @MmeAhluwalia, met my mentor, Mme Ayi ❤️.3 generations of educators, coming together to guide, support, and inspire one another to grow into better teachers. #pay_it_forward
