My new fav hack: using #stickynotes to change our math problem daily! Using @MarianSmall ‘s adding and subtracting situations. Gives the kiddos lots of practice, easy to differentiate and can practice reading our 💜words and ⚡️words. @tvdsbmathk8 @PAlgonquin @mrskmcleod
When our 🦕 🦖 brought us cut outs of their feet, the #gradeones had no idea how much math we could do!! Many days of measuring and estimating, using words like ‘half’ and ‘quarter’! Today we flew airplanes & estimated distance using 🦖 feet! @mrskmcleod @PAlgonquin @TVDSBmath
