Great minds think alike! Two days of twinning in a row! #raviniarocks #112leads @MissSQuaid @MrsGetlin
Thank you for coming to have lunch with our students, Officer Stokes! #raviniarocks #112leads
Thank you to our resource team for leading our team builder at the staff meeting today! @KaganOnline Joy Thoughts for the win. We brainstormed and categorized words that exemplify our school community! #RaviniaRocks #112leads
This. View! These fifth graders gave me a little pep talk through the window at recess today. I love it! #raviniarocks #112leads
Look who I ran into at my son’s open house! I couldn’t be happier or more proud of our former administrative assistant teaching AP high school science classes! #raviniarocks #112leads #aimforthestars #seewhatididthere
This incredible group of educators planned and ran the most successful first day of school! #raviniarocks #112leads #grateful #BetterTogether
Teacher friends, moving our entire school to a new site for two years for construction. I read to all s’s the first week of school. Anyone have recs for a book about change, adaptability, resiliency? Thanks!
This! Positive and proactive communication is so important. #raviniarocks #112leads
Today’s thought: Parents everywhere are sending their children from
Pre-K to HS to school & are nervous about it. Don’t let our schools be a mystery. Communicate w/ parents the first two weeks of school to let them know how their children are doing. Ideally, a short call is best, but anything is better than nothing. It benefits Ps, Ts & Ss when we do.
Did you know a group of Raccoons is called a gaze? Well, I certainly saw STARS all day today! From a morning play date to Food Trucks, so many raccoon sightings. One special student won the most sighted Raccoon- five times in one week! #raviniarocks #112leads #RaccoonsInTheWild
Can’t wait to welcome all these Raccoons to Ravinia in two weeks! #RaviniaRocks #112leads
I had the BEST time with all our kinders these last few days. Welcome Raccoons! #raviniarocks #112leads
I spent the morning with teams drafting logistical plans as well as mission and vision statements for our school. I cannot wait to share them with the community. This year is going to be amazing- we truly are #BetterTogether! #raviniarocks #112leads
As the preparations for a new school ramp up, don't forget to find something to calm you and do it! Time spent bringing yourself peace is always time well spent. #raviniarocks #112leads
Wow! Best play date turnout ever! I had so much fun I almost forgot to take pictures. Can’t wait for the next one. This group of Raccoons are ready for school! #RaviniaRocks #112Leads #BetterTogether
Dropped off snacks for these two amazing colleagues from the Operations department (and a few others). They spent their Saturday working to make sure our new building will be ready for staff and students. Thank you Stan and @Delta4zero! #RaviniaRocks #112leads #BetterTogether
I'm really focusing on taking better care of myself. After a long day and night of (good and fun) work, I really wanted to hit snooze this AM. So glad I didn't! #raviniarocks #112leads #fillyourcup
