6th grade scientists did an awesome job exploring, categorizing & identifying mystery elements today as we dive into chemistry! @HumbleISD_KMS @Humble_2ndSci #KMSCougarPRIDE
Had so much fun seeing former, current & future students @HumbleISD_KMS Trunk-or-Treat! #KMSCogarPRIDE
Demonstrating the behavior of particles in various states of matter, but make it fun! @HumbleISD_KMS @Humble_2ndSci #KMSCougarPRIDE
Exploring changing states of matter & what might be happening to the particles inside with the ice cream lab! 🍦😋 #KMSCougarPRIDE @HumbleISD_KMS @Humble_2ndSci
Things got loud, but Ss were excited! Our 6th graders LOVED providing their clients with safe bungee jumping experiences while making predictions + practicing with spring scales to measure forces at play during energy transformations. #KMSCougarPRIDE @Humble_2ndSci

Scientists may have found the real life SpongeBob and Patrick nearly 6,200 feet below the Atlantic.
A NOAA expedition captured a yellow sponge and pink sea star sitting side by side, and marine biologist Christopher Mah pointed out the obvious comparison.

Loving these energy transformations, thanks to photosynthesis! 🌿 #KMSCougarPRIDE
6th grade scientists @HumbleISD_KMS have been investigating energy transformations in roller coasters and circuits…so fun! #KMSCougarPRIDE @Humble_2ndSci
Team-building & thinking like engineers under various constraints 👷🏽 @HumbleISD_KMS #KMSCougarPRIDE
6th grade scientists had fun analyzing lab safety crimes today, and their reactions were priceless! @HumbleISD_KMS @Humble_2ndSci #KMSCougarPRIDE
