How often are you observed/ ‘learning walked’ in your school? Are you told when it’s happening? Are you given a specific time? General thoughts on observations welcome.

2) I'm pretty confident cover would be found if necessary, as an SLT we're committed to doing what's right.
Back in Nov my head came and reminded me, as a new dad, to check if my little one had any Christmas parties, Nativity events or the like and get them in the school diary.
Just going to leave these little blast from the past beauties here.
Oh to be 15 again when the biggest decision was which one to buy with the Saturday job earnings 😊 🤣
Right, so those with kids at uni living away from home, how’s your bank balance?
I thought kids were expensive as babies, narrowly followed by being a young teenage, but this uni phase is a whole other level.
Seriously, how? He’s taken every loan but it’s nowhere near enough.
Great discussion around Instructional Coaching with @HughesHaili @IRIS_Connect
Tell me what teaching reading looks like in KS1 at your school? We’re a junior and I have knowledge of our feeder Infant but would like a broader picture. #primaryschool #teachers #teaching
Not a stirring question- a genuine one. Which other professions observe and monitor their employees as often as teachers? Please comment which profession and how often.
Some teachers are being monitored more several times a week!
Leaders of schools, how often do you observe?
Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do about dogs going crazy at mopeds. It’s a typical Friday night and everyone and their dog (😉) is ordering from deliveroo, just eat, etc and there are constant mopeds in our road and the dog is barking every time 😩😩
Schools are complex. Of course they are. One word will never be enough to ‘sum it up.’
Drop the word - keep the report.

Write the report; drop the word.🤷♀️
Brilliant stuff again for us Junior schools. Thanks @Suchmo83
Same accommodation and same resort. Half term price costs a staggering £1450 more to experience exactly the same thing. 😡😡😡
A 🧵on secondary parents’ evening.
The pandemic gave us the gift of online parents’ evening. For me, walking around the school, missing appointments, over- running appointments, people jumping the time queue etc was always annoying.

I said as long as you can see a teacher in-person if you need/ want to about particular issues, isn’t that ok? Have you asked to see a teacher in-person about something and they’ve said no? No, was the answer.
