Vegans convinced me that animal farming as it exists was wrong on environmental grounds, so I more or less cut out beef and lamb as harm reduction, which has made them angry at me because my diet kills far more animals as an individual chicken produces far less meat than a cow.

I sort of knew this from years of shopping and cooking, but this is still wild. It's also good news for me in a sense, because I think pork is a better & (more importantly) vastly more versatile meat than beef.
