Came together very last minute but looking forward to covering this tomorrow. The biggest crowd in Birmingham for 8 years & the first show I’ll be covering since moving back earlier this year. In my first freelance gig for @SecondsOutLive - thank you for the opportunity 🥊
🚨 WHITTAKER CROWD BIGGEST IN BRUM FOR 8 YEARS
📈 The crowd for Ben Whittaker-Conor Wallace in Birmingham on Saturday will be the biggest for a boxing event in the city since Amir Khan-Samuel Vargas in 2018, Eddie Hearn has said.

🥊 HISTORY MADE.
What started as an idea between us is now a reality.
The new weight division bridging the gap between 175lbs and 200lbs has officially been PASSED by the British Boxing Board of Control.
We pushed for change. The Board listened. Fighter safety wins. 👏🥊

🥊 “I DIDN’T WANT MY DAUGHTER TO THINK HER FATHER WAS A LOSER.”
An emotional Filip Hrgović reveals the motivation that drove him on after defeating Moses Itauma.
Battered, bruised, but victorious. Hrgović says the thought of his daughter watching gave him the strength to keep fighting when things got tough.
A father’s motivation. 👏

Itauma will be heavyweight champion soon enough. That was a great learning fight for him. It won’t feel like it right now. But he has a big future ahead. He’d have sparked out any other HW in the world with the shots Hrgovic ate. Still a special talent. Just got exhausted.

AND THE NEW… TWO TIME BRITISH AND COMMONWEALTH CHAMPION 🏆
The support last night was unbelievable!
To everyone who travelled to Leeds, bought a ticket, watched from home, sent me messages and backed me through the highs and the lows… THANK YOU! 🙌🏽

This man has given us so many entertaining nights over the years & the book isn’t quite written yet.
The Tyson Fury fight nearly slipped away from us yesterday, it may not be what it was, but the pair of them deserve it.
One last hurrah. 🇬🇧

This photo makes me emotional🥲 These are the welterweights who inspired me when I returned to boxing in 2016, after a two-and-a-half-year layoff and with a 15-3 record. They were the stars of PBC. An era has come to an end. Thank you for inspiring me, champs. God bless you all🙏🏾 #teamugas #54milagros #ThankGod

Good luck tonight @anthonyjoshua. I know how much work you have put into preparing for this fight. Now go out there and do what you came to do. Respect always!
