“Good gets better and bad gets worse.”
You've seen some of it in the last 24 hours, you'll see more in the next couple of days: the remaining undecideds are moving.
Elections don't end 48-46 (at least head-to-head ones don't)
And in wave years, as Haley Barbour likes to say, good gets better and bad gets worse.
Trump clearly knows it, too. He hates standing w losers and the spin about being able to do more w tele rallies gets him off the hook from another round of rallies with folks about to take Ls
Georgia breaks another early voting record with more than 2.29 million Georgians voting in person so far, passing the previous midterm record set in 2022. And there is another full day of early voting still to go. ajc.com/politics/2026/10/geo…

.@SenatorWarnock tells @MarkArum he is feeling “nauseously optimistic” about Democrats’ chances next week, echoing what many, many Democrats are feeling with early turnout numbers looking strong, but knowing it’s not over til it’s over.
Democrats are looking to Atlanta’s fast-changing suburbs to flip power in the state. “It’s a Democrat paradise.” @ajc ajc.com/politics/2026/10/opi…
This is the line ahead of the Obama/ Ossoff/ Bottoms rally. I’ve never seen a line this long for any Democratic event in Georgia in 20 years of doing this.
Barack Obama heading back to Georgia tonight, just like he did in 2020 and 2022, to push Democratic turnout as Keisha Lance Bottoms tries to win her neck-and-neck race for governor against Rick Jackson. ajc.com/politics/2026/10/bar…

The fundraising reports are in: Republican billionaire Rick Jackson has poured another $92.5 million of his own fortune into his campaign for Georgia governor since Aug. 1. His personal contributions now top $200 million. Polls show the race is a tossup. #gapol
Turnout trouble: @jamiedupree flags this from veteran Georgia pollster Matt Towry: “As we look at early voting, it is becoming clear that a certain portion of the GOP base is not planning on voting.”
Rick Jackson, at his rally, is not one of the Republicans calling the cost of living crisis a hoax. “Affordability is a crisis. Groceries cost more, gas costs more, insurance costs more, healthcare costs more, rent and power bills cost more, and property taxes keep climbing and are insane.”
Kemp also acknowledges the very real headwinds for Republicans this year: “We know what the political environment is. It's not great, but it's what we’ve got to deal with.”
Gov. Brian Kemp gets a huge ovation at Rick Jackson’s rally in Roswell and lays into Keisha Lance Bottoms. “As governor, you can't call out sick, pass the buck, or go to Martha’s Vineyard when you get tired of the job.”
Dr. Melody Jackson, a Ph.D. Neuroscientist from Ga. Tech, gives her closing message for Rick Jackson. “I’m an independent, and this year I’m voting for the right person for governor……I love him, I believe in him, I married him.”
Conservative radio host @EWErickson on why left the Georgia Senate race blank on his otherwise straight-GOP ballot: "A vote for Collins is a vote to hand white supremacists, racists and Holocaust deniers access to power." @ajc ajc.com/opinion/2026/10/repu…

Early voting turnout in Georgia will pass 2 million today, and voters in left-leaning metro Atlanta and other population centers continue to outpace parts of rural Georgia. Per GeorgiaVotes:
And let me rephrase this— @bluestein @joekovacjr and @zach_ehansen have the amazing ticktock on the deal. Sorry guys!
Gov. Brian Kemp is well known to have a copious reading habit. One day he read that Audi was looking to build a U.S. manufacturing plant and the wheels started turning. @FitzTrubey has the amazing ticktock on the many years and dozens, maybe hundreds, of people it took to bring Audi to Georgia. ajc.com/business/2026/10/how…
With the battle for governor down to the wire and suburban votes still up in the air, a new ad from @KeishaForGA features a rape victim criticizing Jackson’s position on abortion. “The thought of Rick Jackson as governor is terrifying.” youtu.be/udHfQqURr0E
