My debut album, Dunya, is out everywhere. Listen to it, I hope it makes you reconsider the dark. I tried my hand at beauty when it wasn’t in the cards. Free all my people from the grasp of this wretched Dunya and glad tidings to the ones who have left it. mustafa.lnk.to/dunya

.@MustafaThePoet shows no conscious effort toward pop stardom on 'Dunya' – and it's all the better for it (@artsandcrafts). Our 9/10 review:

At his best @MustafaThePoet sounds like Sufjan Stevens delivering a 2Pac verse, with this artist powerfully blending folk + hip hop.
It was an honour to profile him for @onlinehyphen, ahead of the release of Dunya, his album of the year contender. Read: hyphenonline.com/2024/09/26/…
