I had some time to kill. I was right next to a Tesla dealership. I popped in to ask about FSD in Australia, and they asked me if I wanted a test ride (can't really call it a test drive now). All their demo cars had it. I took a Model Y on full FSD... and it was actually awesome!

In my wife's MY25 Model Y with AI4 hardware, this might be something she can use as an on-call nurse to help the commute. But she's barely okay with using adaptive cruise control, so probably not. In my MY22 Model 3 with AI4/HW3, absolutely not, even when FSD Lite is available.

And that sucks. Autopilot was a promise made to people for years before I even bought my car. Some people payed an obscene amount of money for it and it never arrived. And now HW3 looks to be missing out. I'll need to see what FSD Lite looks like, but it better be discounted.

So, did I miss all the shouting and complaining, or am I the only one who cares about @SharePoint and @onedrive changing the sharing model to one that fills up your Entra tenant with random external accounts every time your users want to share something? Because I don't like it.

So now, the only way our staff can share with external people... is to use the far less secure "Anyone with link" option instead. SharePoint is now essentially dead to us as a way to actually share because of this. It was such an incredibly poor decision to make this change.

I can't be the only one who thinks this is a bad design, right? I just can't allow all my staff (and especially my students) to invite whatever random account they want into my tenant as a user via B2B. Even with Guests locked down here it still feels super sketchy.

Hey politicians, you want to know a great way to "turn down the temperature" in society? No, it's not naking the AFP crack down on social media posts, and it's not about new censorship laws disguised as duty of care either. It's your own behaviour that actually needs to change...

And it's insulting to the constituents you were elected to represent. You bunch of arrogant, entitled, overpaid, condescending, corrupt, shitbags, do your fucking job and work to make our country better. Learn to compromise for the good of the country instead of squabbling...

It is the politicians, whose decades of (worsening) disrespectful attacks on each other, silly posturing and game-playing instead of dealing with real issues, and deliberate seeding of division, that ultimately has caused the temperature to rise. Stop it. Be better. Grow up.

I really hate when politicians, who are already in government, tell the voting public about all the things they'll fix if they get ejected again. Excuse me, you're in government now, just make the changes now. This kind of BS tactic, essentially blackmailing the public, is gross.

Firearms are not toys. Firearms, even if unloaded, with magazine removed and chamber flag inserted, still need to be handled safely. Nobody should be given a gun, even a "made safe" one, without going over the four safety rules and checking they are understood and in practice.
It is, in these scenarios, the responsibility of the "professional fire arms officer" to ensure the person they are giving the firearm to knowns how to hold it, where to point it, and to keep their finger off the trigger. Especially for a PR photo for social media. C'mon.
