Given the responses to my post on how stealing is wrong I am getting a sense of why so many vocally supported Lindsay Clancy. As a society and civilisation, the West has lost its way.
The number of times I have had a left-leaning person say to me "you are judging" or "you are being judgemental" is ridiculous, and they can't see the irony that in saying those words to me they are judging me.
Of course I judge others!
The answers to my post about it being wrong to steal suggesting that suffering is an excuse for stealing from another are precisely why we find ourselves in the sh!t we do as a society nowadays - there used to be this concept of "tough love" where saying "No!" is sometimes much more helpful than indulging the habits that will sink a person even further into moral darkness.
I am amazed at how my post saying that stealing is wrong has attracted so many from the left telling me that I am wrong.
Communist really does deeply poison the mind and the morals of people.
I listened to a @bbcworldservice programme last night and I was disgusted by how it tried to convey that the killing of white farmers in South Africa was nothing out of the ordinary.
I also notice that the BBC is now pushing a mass shooting in South Africa to try and minimise the targeting of white people in the cape - absolutely disgusting behaviour from the BBC!
I am no economist bur Labour's solution to the housing crisis of giving first time buyers a 20% loan seems like exactly the wrong move. Did tyey learn nothing from 2008. Injecting money into loans will probably inflate house prices by causing inflation. Surely a better solution is to help more houses to be built i.e. help the house building companies.

There's a trend which has perhaps been going on for a while that I have only just noticed. The trend is of YouTubers doing commentary videos on other YouTube commentary videos. I consider it to be the ultimate in lack of creativity and I block channels that I come across doing this.
Just show show how dire Evri are as a delivery company and how they really should not exist given their appalling performance - earlier this week my computer was hacked by someone working for them injecting a cross site script on their delivery notification page.
I contacted Evri by email and I received an email response that was obviously AI generated because it summarised my own email in a typically AI summary manner.
The email also informed me that they would escalate the issue and get back to me.
Today I received another email from Evri apologising for my parcel being lost and telling me they would contact the seller and that I should do the same - they have basically closed the case.
My parcel wasn't f'cking lost! I received it and their automated systems are obviously a load of sh!t.
It's always interesting to do the political compass test, I try to do it when I can remember.

I have rediscovered the joy of reading novels in my fifties. I don't think I have consistently read as much as I currently do since my late twenties. Reading for pleasure is such an affordable and satisfying pass time.
My theory on why there is a whole load of AI fear being broadcast at the moment is the following.
These AI companies are kept afloat by constantly releasing new and better models. However some of the newer models have been shown to be worse than the older models.
I am thinking that it has been discovered that LLMs do not scale beyond a certain point - that is beyond a certain point they become worse and that point has been reached.
So I think they may be calling for a government buyout before it becomes apparent that they have nothing new to offer and their stock tanks.
Remember - whenever someone uses fear to try and get you or someone else to do something, there is usually an unspoken motive behind this.
It gets much worse with Evri, not only do they appear to have a malicious actor working in their business who is injecting cross site scripting payloads into their customer delivery pages, which by the way should be and are obviously not sanitised, but the support account that contacted me asked me to reply to a Gmail account after I refused to supply them with identifying information via a direct message on X.
Just because someone responds on X with what looks like an official account does not mean that they are genuine, beware people.
There's absolutely no way that Evri should be using a Gmail account for conducting any business whatsoever.
If that is genuine then Evri are really far worse and digitally unsecure than I could imagine.
I think the Catholics were onto something when they thought up purgatory.
I have just sat through 20 minutes of someone trying to explain something that I could have explained in 20 seconds.
People who torture the rest of us by demanding our intention in this manner really do deserve purgatory.
Let me rephrase this, they have reached the maximally optimised AI model and don't want to publicly admit this.
Don't get me wrong, I am amazed at what the AI agents can do when helping me code - but I think they may have reached their limit.
