A diabetic "honeymoon" is a brief period of time where your body is still producing insulin.
The honeymoon period can be as short as a week or as long as a year.
The pancreas will eventually be unable to make enough insulin.

Knowing the symptoms that lead to developing Type 1 diabetes is important. Early diagnosis is key to better management and a healthy life.
It’s also worthy to note some may not experience any symptoms at all.
