The kosher criminal network instructed operators not to target Israeli citizens and transferred criminal proceeds to Israel through cryptocurrency markets and cold wallets.

Turkish authorities raided hundreds of addresses in Istanbul and the southwestern province of Muğla, dismantling what they described as an international "fraud empire."
The scope of the scam is staggering, with losses estimated at approximately $266 million. At the center of the affair stands a well-funded network that allegedly operated for roughly a decade across multiple countries and, according to investigators, was managed by Israelis.
Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, confirms the network's leaders were described as "Israeli fraud barons" who appointed operational managers worldwide, established shell companies, and fraudulently siphoned investors' funds. The total number of arrests in the operation exceeds 200 suspects.
There was one Iron Rule for the fraudsters: No Targeting Israelis!
Investigation details reveal that the network operated under strict, calculated rules. For instance, Employees were absolutely forbidden from speaking Hebrew within the walls of the Turkish offices. The organization's managers explicitly instructed staff not to approach Israeli citizens under any circumstances—apparently to avoid friction with the stringent enforcement authorities in those countries.
