So, I am told that the @PasighatSP police are approaching the court to search the legal chambers of the lawyer representing three anti-dam activists: Ebo Mili, Otul Jerang, and Tajong Talom. If the police had done their job, the massive violence in Pasighat would not have happened on Friday and Saturday night. Who are they fooling while trying to hide their incompetence? The Pasighat SP and SDPO are IPS officers, under whose guidance stun grenades and tear gas were used against peaceful protesters. This spiralled into a massive show of anger and violence that went out of control for both the Gen Z protesters and the police. Who takes responsibility for this police intelligence failure? Not the police, of course.

Rs 10 Cr NHPC campaign is at work through the BJP IT cell. Obviously, they are RSS-indoctrinated people who are incapable of critical thinking, believing that the concept of India first excludes its minorities and their rights. Many are outright racists, and some have started doxxing Northeast people working in mainland India. This is troubling. Even more troubling is that you cannot approach the police, as their bosses are the same. #SaveSiang

Look at the sheer number of armed personnel that have descended upon Pasighat, which saw a night of violence, vandalism, and the looting of the homes of elected representatives from Friday night to Saturday. This followed a Gen Z protest against militarisation and the arrest of villagers protesting against the Siang upper multipurpose project. The flights bringing in Rapid Action Forces stopped just a short while ago. This is state-sponsored violence and provocation.

Manipur’s SoO pact, renegotiated in Sep 2025, has lapsed. Security forces await Centre’s clarity. Finding just 1 of 159 Kuki-Zo militants at a designated camp, they took it over in a rare move with major implications. Plan to audit all camps now.

If you’ve questioned the state's oppression of indigenous resistance against the Upper Siang Mega Project or supported the Gen Z protests, you’ve likely been attacked by pro-Modi and pro-Pema right-wingers. small dick energy labeling everyone a Chinese agent. Read this report and see why they’re dancing to the state's tune: ₹10 crore has been funneled purely into pro-SUMP publicity.
