Y’all don’t get how happy I am to see Hotel Transylvania finally get some love. Like even if I agree they kinda stopped trying to explore their themes deeper and became more tropey 3-onwards, they’re all still great films that are an underrated chapter in Genndy’s work

But then at the same time guys like blackgrphy0n and shadman get away with repeat offenses, while people who comparatively did less get dragged through the mud (mostly cause they were maybe kinda annoying so now people can justify they're blind hatred)

Cav criticism is literally just "corny!!" "Slop" "tv head character💔" "hazbin and tadc combined"
Mind you none of them watched the pilot, you can have an opinion but hating and being so negative isn't one 😭😭 just hating to hate, we're just making up crap

So the artist is the problem for setting prices that they need to make a LIVING on? That the same people complaining about those prices would rather buy cheap generated material that steals from those artists?

Since there's a new indie animated pilot out, I think a lot of people need to be reminded that they are not experts on viable business practices in the animation industry. I'm seeing lots of broad assumptions that are rude as fuck being presented as fact. It's disheartening.

Apparently the art community’s getting rough and toxic lately. Remember to treat your fellow artists with respect and kindness. And remember that the leeches are still a loud minority that feed on negativity, but can be starved out of the attention they crave.
Social media is not reality.
