Because accurately describing it would reveal we already have a form of socialism in this country, as do most of Europe and South Asia, which is helpful to its citizens. So paint it with a false narrative so those in the MAGA closet will accept same without an independent thought. Where is the press? You can't make up a deranged definition of an economic model that has nothing to do with economics.
