Our PG Gabe Pickens has a BRIGHT future as an Aggie. Period. Carpenter and Filipovity are true ballers. 🔥🔥

Imagine having a senior big man get fouled out from only playing 11 minutes. 😑😑 I don't know if people look at stats these days. But there has to be a reason why all three of our big man had limited minutes at their previous schools.

Huge shoutout to our forwards Peter Filipovity & Robert Carpenter on their great performances today. Today was a battle of the forwards as both us and the Flyers had their forwards show out. (I am a bit nervous about having a reliable player to play the 5.)

HALFTIME - Aggies - 28, Flyers - 29 @CHRISTIAN_COOK_ - 9 pts, 1 reb, 1 ast, 1 stl. @trillestrobb - 5 pts, 6 reb @ptheswaggy - 3 pts, 3 reb @iBostickDionte - 2 pts, 2 reb, 2 ast @zawdie1 - 4 pts, 1 ast @5Kingcarl - 2 pts, 1 reb @_jadennn5 - 3 pts, 1 stl (@NMStateMBB)

If we play the second half today, against Dayton. We will lose. The Flyers are a great team that recently beat Northwestern from a 10 point comeback. The Aggies better watch out for the word "comeback." From this point and on.

I don't expect @CoachJHoot to be happy. A lot of adjustments need to be made. We won, but it was a terrible performance the second half. We blew a 20 point lead to three points. We got way too comfortable and allowed the Islanders to get back-to-back offense rebounds.

What is going on, @NMStateMBB? You guys were up by 20 into the second half and now were up by 6?! Yet, the Aggies just allowed the Islanders to get three offensive rebounds in a row. They got way too comfortable!!

I'm a really huge fan of the way this team is playing. We're being aggressive on the rebounds on both sides, defense, and making great looks! Let's keep it going! #AggieUp HALFTIME: @CHRISTIAN_COOK_ 15 pts, 3 rebounds, 1 assist. @zawdie1 12 pts, 4 assists, 2 steals

Dear @Coach_TSanchez, Please take notes from Vanderbilt. We need a QB who is wiling to take risks and run the ball in the right possessions. Please. This is what gathered us success. Sincerely, Aggie Nation

On a positive note, I am proud of the success and effort these ladies are bringing. These are true leaders! #AggieUp nitter.cf/NMStateVBall/status/18…

I'm not upset that we lost against the Lobos tonight. I am upset that we can't get DECENT HUMAN BEINGS on the coaching staff!! First, we had the terrible ensemble of MBB coaches with Heiar. Now, we have a racist offensive coordinator. As a Hispanic, I am offended. 🤦‍♂️

Great teams don't ever force shots in, and instead find ways to create their own whether if it's to their teammates or themselves.
