Ukraine’s Navy says two Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers were destroyed at Marinovka airfield in Volgograd region by a Neptune missile strike. The aircraft were based with the 11th Composite Aviation Regiment of Russia’s 4th Air Force and Air Defense Army. #Ukraine

Germany’s state of Hesse will award President Volodymyr Zelensky its highest honor, the Wilhelm Leuschner Medal. Minister-President Boris Rhein said the award also recognizes the Ukrainian people for defending their sovereignty, democracy and European values against Russia’s war. Rhein praised Zelensky’s “unprecedented commitment” and said the award is a strong expression of Hesse’s continued support for Ukraine. The ceremony is set for December 1. #Ukraine

Putin warned Europe that a direct war with Russia would have “no winners.” Commenting on European preparations for a possible conflict with Russia by 2030, he said Moscow is ready but does not want war. “If they want to prepare, let them prepare. One of the three drones that struck the ship can be clearly identified in the video. At least three vessels reportedly sailed for the US after Trump moved to lift sanctions on Russian diesel on October 16. Industry sources say buyers are resisting over legal and reputational risks, despite pressure and substantial discounts being offered by both Moscow and Washington. #Russia

German-made GEREON ground robots have been integrated with Ukraine’s Shablya remotely operated weapon station. The GEREON platform, produced by ARX Robotics, provides mobility, reconnaissance and observation, while the Ukrainian-made Shablya module adds remotely operated weapons. The modular system can also be adapted for logistics and casualty evacuation, and GEREON is described as the largest Western-made UGV fleet deployed in Ukraine. #Ukraine

Ukraine’s HUR says Russia had around 140 Su-34 fighter-bombers in service as of October 22. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, HUR counts 43 destroyed and another 7 damaged. If reports that two Su-34s were destroyed in today’s strike on Marinovka airfield are confirmed, total destroyed losses would rise to 45 and the operational fleet estimate to roughly 138. Russia is estimated to produce 14-18 Su-34s annually. #Russia

Ukrainian manufacturer Fire Point says 90% of the components used in its drones are sourced domestically. The company says it chose technological independence three and a half years ago to reduce reliance on external events and keep production predictable. #Ukraine

❗️The European Commission is proposing another €21.3 billion under the SAFE program for EU defense procurement and is urging member states to involve Ukraine in joint purchases. Priority areas include air and missile defense, drones and counter-drone systems, ammunition and missiles. The money would be borrowed and repaid by EU countries, not transferred to Ukraine as an aid package, and can also be spent with Ukrainian manufacturers. #Ukraine

Ukrainian presidential adviser Serhii “Flash” says Russian Geran-5 drones have reached speeds of up to 1,000 km/h while maneuvering. He estimates Russia produces up to 3,000 jet-powered Shaheds and around 700 Geran-5 drones per month. Flash also says Russia is introducing AI into Molniya, Geran and Lancet drones so they can autonomously identify and attack targets including trains, warehouses and vehicles. #Ukraine

Ukraine’s General Staff says Russian personnel losses in October have reached 49,040 as of October 29, the highest monthly figure recorded since the start of Russia’s full-scale invasion. #Ukraine

Ukraine’s Defense Ministry says automated turrets destroyed dozens of Russian drones over Kyiv in the past month. Developed under Brave1 since 2024, the systems have downed more than 60 targets under the Private Air Defense project, including Banderol and Geran-5 drones. #Ukraine

Ukraine’s General Staff says its forces struck three Russian drone infrastructure sites near Navlya in Bryansk region, including a Geran drone storage depot, a drone launch site and fuel storage. Two radar stations near Starodub and Medvedove and two UAV command posts near Savlukove and Vitovka were also hit. A Russian command-observation post near Novohrodivka in occupied Donetsk region was struck as well. #Ukraine

Horrifying images coming out of Dnipro.. At least 17 people were killed in Russian strikes across Ukraine this morning. In Dnipro, Zelensky says 13 were killed and 10 wounded at the railway station. Two 15-year-old girls were killed in Chernihiv, while two more people were killed in Kremenchuk. #Ukraine

❗️Poland will transfer two MiG-29 fighters to Ukraine as part of a new military aid package worth about €50 million, Rzeczpospolita reports. The package is also set to include artillery ammunition, 20x102mm rounds for F-16 cannons, Piorun missiles and other air-defense support. #Ukraine
