⚡ Can you feel the thunder?
During Exercise Global Thunder, a U.S. 🇺🇸 Air Force B-52 flew with British 🇬🇧 F-35s and Norwegian 🇳🇴 F-35s — the first time a U.S. B-52 has been escorted by UK F-35s while operating alongside Norwegian fifth-generation fighters.
The milestone demonstrated the ability of UK, U.S. and Norwegian forces to integrate strategic airpower with advanced fighter capability across the High North.
For NATO, that integration matters: different nations, platforms and missions working together to strengthen interoperability, readiness and collective deterrence.
Three Allies. Two generations of airpower. One integrated mission.

As ARF HQ, #NRDCITA continues to contribute to #readiness, interoperability, multi-domain integration and operational adaptation, while using training, experimentation and lessons identified to strengthen Allied responsiveness.

In modern warfare, an invisible battle is unfolding across the electromagnetic spectrum.
Italy’s electronic warfare specialists reveal a world of signals and jammers, and detail their investment in the capabilities needed to maintain NATO’s defences in this evolving environment
Signal Searchers
Italian electronic warfare experts show how they detect, analyse and locate signals produced by communications, radar, navigation systems, drones and sensors.
Countering uncrewed threats demands seamless integration.
When radar from one ally detects an incoming drone, a neutralizer from another site needs to fire without delay.
Securing that seamless sensor-to-shooter link is the mission of @NATO_ACT's Layered Counter-UAS Initiative (LCI-X). In Latvia, LCI-X Crucible 4-26 is testing multi-domain counter-UAS data-sharing & deconfliction at scale: act.nato.int/article/nato-sc…

⚡ A lesson isn’t learned until it changes how you fight.
In Sweden 🇸🇪, around 400 personnel took part in a three-day, unscripted exercise designed to test new tactics for operating — and surviving — in a drone-heavy battlespace.
Reconnaissance drones, FPV systems, loitering munitions, electronic warfare, counter-drone capabilities and cloud-based command tools were all put to the test against a thinking adversary.
For NATO, the lesson is clear: future readiness depends on being able to detect, disrupt and adapt faster than the threat.
