PEF Convention Delegates --the highest-ranking body of this union -- decided on Oct. 20, 2026, to cease PEF participation on this platform. You can find us on other platforms including Facebook, BlueSky, TikTok, Instagram and the PEF App.
This year's Health and Safety Breakfast theme "Lights, Camera, Action Items" taught delegates how to successfully run a productive Health and Safety committee meeting. Every year, the Health and Safety Department hosts a breakfast training event during PEF Convention.

Convention Goers!! Be sure to save this post for your morning caffeine ☕ LUMA Cafe & Eatery and La Patisserie are both within walking distance of the NFCC and best of all - both are part of the "show your badge" program which means you get 10% with each purchase when you show your convention badge.
Only TWO more days until we see you in Niagara Falls, Delegates!

THREE DAYS UNTIL CONVENTION!
Here are 3 hot spots to check out and grab some good eats while in Niagara Falls:
1. Top of the Falls (restaurant) - a fun way to experience the Horseshoe Falls and enjoy a meal, or some apps and a drink! 🍽
2. Judi's Lounge (restaurant) - the locals claim this to be the best wings in town so stop by and see what you think. 🍗
3. La Patisserie - not only is this one on the same block as the convention center, but it is also a part of the "Show your badge" program so you can receive 10% off your purchase! Their desserts look absolutely delicious 🤩
Yesterday Region 2 Coordinator Shelby Wisneski and PEF members Carrie Hoopes (steward), Stacey Heary and Carina Watson from Allegany County spoke out during the county legislature’s public comment period, sharing their perspectives on ongoing contract negotiations and advocating for a fair contract.
Four days until Convention 2026 so here are 4 essential travel items to bring along: 1. Cozy sweater/jacket - be sure to bring a sweater/jacket for Monday night's Falls Illumination in PEF Colors.
