The murder of a child is a pain no parent should have to endure, let alone from thousands of miles away.
Javits Frimpong’s mother deserves to say goodbye to her son in person. I just got off the phone with President Trump and he has agreed to grant her visa immediately.
All of New York City is mourning this tragedy.

Respectfully, this is not a conversation for people that are not part of the diaspora. If you haven’t lived in America or any other major city in the West, you don’t have the range to engage with some of these matters. Please sit this one out.
Regarding Javits Frimpong, I honestly don’t understand why people are getting angry under my post. Not every neighbourhood in America is safe for raising children. The Bronx has its share of serious crimes, sh00tings and gang activities. As parents, we must carefully consider the environment we expose our children to. Moving to America doesn’t automatically mean moving to a safer place. Sometimes the truth is uncomfortable, but we need to be realistic. May his soul rest in perfect peace, and I hope justice is served. 🕊️

🚨BREAKING🇬🇭🇺🇸✊🏿: Government of Ghana is demanding justice after 15-year-old Ghanaian Javits Badu Nkansah Frimpong was shot dead in the Bronx, New York, while on his way to school on Oct. 29.
Foreign Affairs Minister @S_OkudzetoAblak has spoken with his father and says Ghana will work with US authorities to ensure those responsible are brought to justice.
Ghana’s Mission in New York has also visited the family and pledged legal and consular support.
No arrests have been announced. Police investigations are ongoing.

ICYMI🇺🇸🇬🇭⚠️: [TW]15-year-old Javits Frimpong, a Ghanaian student who moved to New York a year ago, was fatally shot in the abdomen while walking to DreamYard Preparatory School in the Bronx on 29 October.
Police are seeking three teenage male suspects last seen in black clothing and surgical masks.
His father, Thomas Frimpong, has linked the attack to recent school bullying.
No arrests have been made yet.
