the night market is a dead mall now. 🏬 monostate shut it down, people moved back in anyway. every floor is its own little world. supermarket leftovers, a food court, a department store full of mannequins that move when you look away, a dead cinema, an arcade, a squatter camp up top. then there's the elevator. you get in. it jams. something drops through the hatch. it moves again. it stops between floors and monostate forces the doors. the cable snaps, you fall two floors, the brake catches, you fight while it slips. then it hits the bottom. the walls break pixel by pixel. we spent a day on that. it's the only thing in the building that works. built and running in the editor. real elevator art and phone test next. demo testers: still open. press BUG when the lift isn't the only thing that breaks. #gamedev #indiegame #pixelart

testers start 1 nov, so we made it hard to complain badly. 🐛 found a bug? hit report, the game takes a picture, you draw a red circle on the problem with your finger. done. no essays. then one tap on what happened: "i got stuck", "unfair death", "didn't do what i pressed". yes unfair death is a real button. we know. the report also carries your last 10 seconds of button presses and the end of the log, so we can see what you did, not what you remember doing. wallet stuff and emails get stripped first. and a 4 page feedback form. mostly taps. fun, controls, difficulty, "play again?" with "probably not" as a legal answer. we'll read every one. monostate would've deleted the complaints. we just make them easier to send. #gamedev #indiegame #madewithunity
