The phrase "Cash is King" is very profound. If we give up using cash then it will e withdrawn and your only means of payment is a card. Who then controls your money? There is a massive move towards a "cashless society" which I will avoid at all costs.

Been cashless for 3 years. Horrible stuff. Coins are just a bloody nuisance. The one good to come out of COVID is much wider use of contactless payments.

Imagine a government so afraid of the people it governs, it takes away their right to peaceful protest. Are you imagining that? Well then be concerned, because it could very well happen.

If you suppress lawful protest it may well go outside the law and beyond the ability of our limited police resources to control. The passions behind BLM and Extinction Rebellion are not going away.
