Sonnet 116. Patrick's favourite. Take one minute out of your day to hear the bard's words spoken by someone who lived by them.

Probably up there with the all time worst results in clubs history vs Grimsby. Walsall, York, and Wrexham run it close.
Heres the thing, lots shrugging shoulders and saying they dont care and it doesnt matter. Maybe that was thier attitude as well. Some certainly played like it. Sometimes when you climb Everest its hard to do things again, hunger goes.
Thought the performance was an absolute disgrace, and i would hope the private dressing down was harsh rather than the soft interview.
Max deserved the sending off, my guess from what MA said it was a pre match warning that they would get some harsh tackles and he cant react to them. He will learn from that, and MA will likely make him learn the hard way.
For those who say it doesnt matter, winning. matters its breeds attitude and further success. Winning always matters, and the performance was a shambles.

🗣️ Fleetwood Town manager on Mikel Arteta:
Q: Did you get the chance to speak to him after full-time?
“No, because I've not. He shook my hand two or three times, and he was really, really gracious. I can imagine it's a really disappointing night for him.
“But yeah, the way that he acted with class is amazing, really. And I would love to catch up with him, pick his brain and learn off the best.
“But he's been really busy with media and all the emotion, like the crowd, so we've not managed to cross paths.
“But he said ‘well done’ in the tunnel briefly and how well we did, and that was it.
“And obviously, a show of class from him.”

I think it's a good interview. What he's saying in the dressing room will be quite different I suspect.
Very curious what he makes of the Dowman situation when he sees it back

Exactly. He’s literally being treated differently right now and throughout his time with the senior team

With respect to my colleagues in the football writing industry, I am stunned that Bruno Fernandes has been named FWA Footballer of the Year instead of Declan Rice. Rice has literally won more matches this season (35) than Fernandes has even played (34).

Arsenal have 0 of the top 14 players in the world.
and also, Arteta is overrated.
