[ACTIVE MARCHERS ARRESTED IN KZN]
Four suspects who have been actively involved in the ongoing anti illegal foreigners sentiment marches were arrested after they were found in possession of three firearms and ammunition in Muden in the early hours of Thursday, 29 October 2026.
National Crime Intelligence officers who are deployed in KwaZulu-Natal gathered intelligence that four people who are actively involved in the marches were allegedly involved in criminal activities such as cash in transit robberies and that they were in possession of guns.
The intelligence was operationalised and a multi-disciplinary operation involving police officers who are members of the KwaZulu-Natal Provincial Task Team was conducted. Intelligence led police to a residence in Muden where the four suspects were found in possession an AK47 assault rifle, two hand guns and 159 rounds of ammunition. They were duly arrested for being in an illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
The firearms will be taken for ballistic testing to ascertain if they were used in the commission of crime in and around KwaZulu-Natal or elsewhere in the country. The four suspects, aged between 19 and 35 years old, will appear in the Greytown Magistrate’s Court on Friday, 30 October 2026.

The EFF has approached the Gauteng High Court in Pretoria, seeking authorisation to access the court record and transcripts in the trial of Patrick Mshothola and Thulani Dlomo, which has heard testimony about a State Security Agency (SSA) operation to infiltrate the EFF and its parliamentary caucus.
We are seeking access to transcripts of open-court proceedings, exhibits and other relevant court documents to establish the full record of evidence concerning the operation, including testimony that the SSA used a contract involving Korolo Investment Holdings to fund the operation against the EFF.

Sechaba Mofokeng revealed that his son Relebohile Mofokeng had made a bet with the Orlando Pirates Chairman Dr Irvin Khoza regarding the league title, Dr Irvin Khoza promised to buy Rele Mofokeng a house of his choice if he won him the league because Mofokeng refused to leave Orlando Pirates last season when he had plenty offers abroad.
Relebohile Mofokeng promised the chairman he would pay him 200k if he doesn’t win him the league as part of the bet meaning it was a house of his choice for 200K, Rele delivered the league title as he outperformed every player in the league and Dr Khoza delivered by buying him the house of his choice as Sechaba Mofokeng confirmed that it happened before Rele left for Royal Union.
