Are United worse run now than under the Glazers? And if so, how is it possible? Factually, it’s not even up for debate, it’s much worse. Before Ineos came in, the club never finished worse than 7th. Under Ineos it’s 8, 15, 3 and now 16. But how is it possible? This is one area where there really is a big disconnect between me and all big pundits. I cannot for the life of me understand how they can not call it out, especially during the summer. Gary Neville is the worst offender. They simply think it’s “easy”. Have always thought it was “easy”. Ineos clearly thought it would be extremely easy, just putting out the boots on the pitch would be enough. Get in some football people and lean back and United would kick City off the porch. Facts are that United are miles behind all rivals, invest much less than them in improving the squad — and — carries a ton of baggage which non of the rivals do. Still — before a season starts — these guys will sit there and go ‘fairs, United should improve much more than City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool despite only investing a fraction of what those clubs have invested’. There will be a new season in 27/28. United will spend like 150m and have a 200m player wage bill, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and co will spend 400m and have a 380m player wage bill — and Gary Neville, Andy Mitten and co will go ‘it’s enough and if the manager fails it’s on him’. What am I missing? When did Manchester United become synonymous with Shortcuts FC?
🚨🚨🗣️ BREAKING: A source with a social connection to the Glazer family on Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s running of Manchester United: “It’s a TRAVESTY and NOT what they expected or were promised. They have NEVER run the club this way.” #MUFC [@ianherbs]

I totally understand the concept of wanting to finally give a manager time at United but Carrick is not the one. His in-game management is appalling and he’s tactically inept. He has no aura. He doesn’t command respect . He’s too nice. #mufc 🇾🇪

Europe’s Barren Land Led Europeans to Ensl*ve Africans Rev. Albert Cleage (1911-2000) argues that Europeans only spilled out of Europe because of a lack of resources, not due to any superiority. Unfortunately, this has led Africans to adopt Europeans' individualism and materialism, but does that make any sense? Video credit: 'Black Journal' (1971)

🚨Remember that Sir Jim Ratcliffe thought £100m for a 30-year-old Harry Kane was bad business and blocked his signing. Imagine looking at one of the deadliest strikers in world football and worrying more about resale value than winning trophies. This bloke genuinely thinks running Manchester United is like running a chemicals company. Football isn’t a bloody spreadsheet. Absolutely clueless.

They said any coach could go to sporting and replicate same result as Amorim did tho 🤡 🤡
#Sporting are already planning for life after Rui Borges, who will remain in charge against Casa Pia. Abel Ferreira and Leonardo Jardim are difficult targets, Vítor Pereira is considered out of reach, while Sérgio Conceição is reportedly not an option. [via @abolapt]

Update: The APC banners were later removed at Banex Plaza, Abuja, as traders chanted, “Obi-Kwankwaso! Obi-Kwankwaso!”
Trending Video: Traders and APC members clashed at Abuja’s Banex Plaza after traders repeatedly rejected and pulled down PBAT campaign banners this afternoon. Hours later, police officers arrived and allegedly threatened anyone who attempted to resist or remove the banner, before it was eventually hung. Some accounts also alleged that officers remained at the plaza to ensure the banners were not taken down after the market closed. “We no welcome them, dem dey force us by fire, dey force us, mount police say anybody way go commot am, na problem.” — Trader. Banex Plaza is the equivalent of Lagos’ Computer Village. Follow @TrendingEx for dailies.

1. This interview was published on the 14th of March 2015, about 2 weeks before the general election that brought Buhari to power. 2. Goodluck Jonathan was still President, and Peter Obi spent essentially the entire interview defending his government and urging Nigerians to reject Buhari and the APC. The idea that he was sucking up to Buhari for his personal benefit, or somehow seeking a path into the APC, is plainly false, as I am sure you know. 3. The video you posted cleverly cuts a longer segment where he actually criticizes the APC and casts doubt on Buhari’s ability to tackle corruption if he takes over from Jonathan. 4. The full interview can be accessed here: youtu.be/FPRxDeg0xQQ?si=axkn… 5. Lie less.
When Peter Obi was famzing Buhari, thinking he would allow him to continue as SEC Chairman and allow him to join the APC. 🤭
