Just stop and think for a moment ... if we manage to retrofit all our 29M buildings to #Passivhaus by 2050, we only just manage to get to #NetZero ... that’s 1 home every 36 seconds, starting now. #RealityCheck – at Liss, England
Why #Passivhaus is a route to #netzerocarbon - if all buildings (new & #retrofit) were #passivehouse by 2050 - we'd just about have enough #renewables to supply them

Craig Robertson @AHMMArchitects @RIBA 2030Challenge: non-domestic building targets. Work with all profession. Set goals at early stages monitor/review/measure. @Mariaisasmith Think differently about maintenance/repair. Internalise new design aesthetic. Tech we need already exists

Great show but does the future of building really include cement screed with polystyrene aggregate, ICF filled with concrete and rebar and plastic wood? #futurebuild #plasticsinconstrution
