Anthropic pays engineers $750,000 a year to understand how AI models actually work. Stanford just put the same knowledge on YouTube. 2 hours. Completely free. This is the lecture that teaches you what most AI courses skip entirely. Not how to use the tools. Why they work the way they do. The engineers who understand the why build things the people who only know the how cannot even conceive of. The gap between those two groups is $750,000 a year. You can close most of it in an afternoon. Bookmark this before you scroll past it. Watch it this weekend. Not eventually. This weekend.

Mash-it is a unique NFT 2.0 collection - each Mashi is composed by traits that can be recombined by collectors, creating their own "Mashups". The Mash-it collection is enabled by the ERC 5773 standard: all information about individual NFT traits live in the blockchain. Interview with the Illuminati: The Salt Librarian (+ Tomoe preview) 1.Introduce yourself: Who are you and where are you hailing from? I go by The Salt Librarian. From the in-between: ports, archives, and dead drop channels where provenance matters more than faces. I collect quietly, catalog obsessively, and surface only when a signal feels… intentional. 2) What first drew you to collecting Mashis? They feel built, not just generated. The traits don’t sit politely next to each other—they interact. Some clash, some harmonize, some create tension. Real digital art. The potential. 3) What inspired you to join the Mash-it Illuminati and commission a Mashi to assist in onboarding new users? Because onboarding is about teaching how to look. Traits aren’t accessories—they’re arguments and signals layered on top of each other. Give rich material and reap the yield. 4) Explain your inspirations for "Tomoe" (ie:motivations, meaning, etc), and how you interacted with the artist in the creative process. "Tomoe” is a name used as a hinge. It opens if you push on it, with a sword. The interest wasn’t in telling her story, but in borrowing her pressure—resolve without display, motion without explanation. What matters is what survives after impact. I gave the artist fragments, not answers. Their hand, their habits, their visual language determined what stayed and what was cut away. Style wasn’t dictated; it was trusted. The work lives in that gap. I set the direction of force. The artist chose where it landed, beautifully. 5) There are rumors of a rare Reptilian version of Tomoe. Tell us what you can about it In overwhelming blaze, what survives? Where destruction meets absolute will, you may find ash or you may find temper. The only way to know is to seek. 6) Which Mashi is your absolute favorite, and what makes it stand out? Impossible. But, maybe the ones where one trait almost ruins the piece—but doesn’t. The edge is where movement begins. 7) Who are your favorite Mash-it artists and why? Artists who understand modularity without letting it feel modular. When you can’t immediately tell which layer acts first, the artist did their job. 8) What do you value most about the Mash-it.io ecosystem, and how do we stack up against other Web3 communities? Trait mixing with intention. A lot of Web3 art feels like a menu. Mash-it feels more like a recipe—change one thing and the whole outcome shifts. 9) If you had the power to implement one improvement at Mash-it, what would it be? Turn Mashis into instruments, not just artifacts. Let holders use their Mashis as keys—access to tools, remix permissions, visual systems, or collaborative spaces that activate based on trait combinations. Utility emerges from composition. 10) Do you have a final Illuminati message for us mere mortals? Collect what unsettles you. If a piece feels too comfortable, it’s probably décor; or maybe it’s truly yours. If it asks something of you—time, attention, a small discomfort—you’re close. The shelf is watching back.

Interview with the Illuminati: megabeth33 (+ Frehley preview) 1) Introduce yourself: Who are you and where are you hailing from? I really struggled with trying to stay anonymous (as Illuminati do), but you all are great at hunting down identities, so I decided to go ahead and be vulnerable which is very hard for me to do. Many of you know me as megabeth33. My real name is Mary Beth, and I live south of St. Louis, Missouri. More about me: I’m a paralegal, and, in my spare time, I advocate in the community for those living with addiction/mental health issues. I love music (especially metal) and attending live shows is one of my favorite places to be. I’m a big nature lover, and I have a ton of hobbies. Last, but not least, I have a crazy sense of humor and love to have fun. 2) What first drew you to collecting Mashis? I was into the RCAs and mashing. I loved it. After the news of all the things surrounding the closing of the RCA shop and the end of the RCA program as we knew it, I heard about a group of RCA artists/RCA community members working on a new platform which we now know as mashit.io. These individuals were creative and passionate about Mashis—I was immediately drawn to it. 3) What inspired you to join the Mash-it Illuminati and commission a Mashi to assist in onboarding new users? To be honest, I had approached a mash-it “founding member,” and asked if there was a way I could contribute to help with expenses related to the new platform, etc. Fast forward a couple of days, the Illuminati concept was presented to me by “founding members” and I was like, “well, yeah!!!” especially when I found out I could collaborate with Ervindas. 4) Explain your inspirations for "Frehley" (ie: motivations, meaning, etc.) and how you interacted with the artist in the creative process. I really just wanted to create a cool Mashi that had fun traits to mash with. I thought it would be great to go with the steampunk vibe, because that’s missing in the Mashi arena. Ervindas was very open to suggestions (he is familiar with cyberpunk). We interacted through Discord with our creative thoughts. Ervindas was great to collaborate with, and I feel lucky to have been able to have that experience. ‘Frehley’ is named after Ace Frehley who is definitely not associated with steampunk. Ace’s sudden passing has affected me in ways that I can’t even explain--like a piece of me is missing and I’m still just really sad about it. Naming this Mashi ‘Frehley’ is a way for me to honor him. 5) There are rumors of a rare Reptilian version of 'Frehley'. Tell us what you can about it. You will be surprised; it’s totally unexpected. 6) Which Mashi is your absolute favorite, and what makes it stand out? My favorite Mashi(s) “Rule Breaker Beth” and “Rule Breaker Ally” just because of how they came to be. It was over-the-top hilarious. Looking past the bias I have toward the two Mashis I just named, I honestly don’t have a favorite mashi, because each Mashi is outstanding in one form or another. 7) Who are your favorite Mash-it artists and why? This is a really hard question, but here goes: fearsmile, RocketMoonApe, Hammer, Ervindas, intent (a/k/a Ninja Vagabond), Rylar, i&t, Hof, Nerril, naps, _ships, and icono. I’ve also become a fan of KONG/XXX because of Mash-it, and I can’t leave out Serhii. 8) What do you value most about the Mash-it.io ecosystem, and how do we stack up against other Web3 communities? What I value most about the Mash-it.io ecosystem is the amazing group of artists involved. I also value the ability to express myself through the Mashi mashes (and doing the big reveal of my mashwork on Discord using the Mashi bot). I also appreciate the Mash-it community. Everyone seems to be incredibly kind and genuine. 9) If you had the power to implement one improvement at Mash-it, what would it be? I’m going to join Jay with the implementation of mint numbers on our cards. 10) Do you have a final Illuminati message for us mere mortals? Since I’m actually just a mere mortal myself, my message is to treat others like you would want to be treated, speak the truth, and live your best life. Friends encourage friends to mash!
