Ashu was picked up by Assam Police from a private residence. They have still not been told under what charges or on what grounds he has been detained.
If Ashu is not released, I will go to Assam along with other CJP members. Himanta can arrest us all.

I condemn the detaining of many Assamese young people, influencers and activists in Guwahati.
This is completely unacceptable and illegal.
Why is the BJP so scared of the youth ?
Is it because the youth have rejected the Hindu-Muslim polarization of the BJP ?
The scared BJP want to steal their vote and block their voice. I stand with the youth of Assam.

One election commissioner said that changes to Form 6 was illegal. Another election commissioner said that the centralisation of voter list is wrong.
Godi media and BJP spokespersons saying nothing is wrong seem to know more about the law than the election commissioners themselves.
The Indian Express story has uncovered that one man runs the election commissioners of India a constitutional body as his personal fiefdom.
