This is the Achilles' heel of EVs. Damage to the underbody can destroy the battery pack, potentially write off the car or even cause a fire. In Nigeria, where our roads can be rough bumpy protecting your EV's underside is very very important. One way I mitigated against this is to: - Go for an EV with good ground clearance 170mm+ is decent enough. - added a Titanium underbody guard for extra battery protection. I'd strongly recommend this upgrade to anyone driving an EV. – at Ikeja, Nigeria
