🚨 Breaking News 🚨
Binance just got hacked of USDT worth 3.7 Billion Dollars just days they announced major listing and collaboration with Nasdaq 👀
Crypto is never build to be centralized but decentralized, this is major reason Bitcoin is dumping.
But @binance has cleared the air that user funds are safe.
What a time to be alive in Crypto 🥸

I woke up to the news surrounding @binance , and honestly, it is one of those developments that should make every crypto investor pause and think.
Binance is arguably the most recognised cryptocurrency exchange in the industry. For many of us, it has become the default place to buy, sell, trade, and sometimes even store our digital assets. So, hearing reports of a major security incident, alongside the suspension of deposits and withdrawals, is understandably concerning.
The figures being circulated are massive, with some estimates suggesting this could become one of the biggest security breaches in crypto history. Stablecoin issuers, including @tether and @circle , have reportedly moved to freeze substantial amounts of related assets. Binance, on its part, has assured users that it will cover any losses and that user funds are safe.
I sincerely hope everything is resolved without users losing their money. But beyond the immediate headlines, there is a bigger conversation we need to have.
I have been in this industry long enough to remember Mt. Gox, FTX and the more recent Bybit incident. Every one of these events came with its own lessons, and every time, we told ourselves that the industry would become safer. Yet, here we are again, dealing with another major security scare.
At some point, we need to stop assuming that because an exchange is big, popular or trusted, it is automatically safe.
One thing that stands out to me is how vulnerable even sophisticated systems can be. Reports pointing towards a potentially compromised employee device are a reminder that security is not just about technology. Sometimes, one human error or compromised endpoint can expose an entire system to enormous risks.
And this is not necessarily a Binance problem. It is an industry-wide concern.
Personally, I think events like this should make us reconsider how much of our cryptocurrency we leave sitting on centralized exchanges simply because it is convenient.
I understand why people keep their assets on exchanges. Trading is easier, moving funds is faster, and everything feels more accessible. But convenience should never come at the expense of proper risk management.
My position has always been that an exchange should primarily serve as a place to trade, not necessarily a permanent home for your entire portfolio.
Learn to diversify your custody. Understand how self-custody works. Keep your recovery phrases safe, and avoid leaving more funds on any exchange than you actually need for your activities.
Of course, self-custody also comes with responsibilities. Losing your seed phrase, signing malicious transactions or falling for phishing attacks can be just as damaging. So, it is not about blindly moving everything off exchanges; it is about understanding the risks and making informed decisions.
I am not suggesting that Binance is going to collapse, neither am I joining the crowd spreading panic. Binance has the resources, liquidity and operational experience to respond to situations that would completely overwhelm smaller exchanges. Its commitment to covering losses is also important.
But one thing I have learnt from this industry is that trust should never replace personal responsibility.
Crypto has made tremendous progress in adoption, institutional participation and infrastructure development. However, we still have fundamental security and custody challenges to address.
My advice is simple: don't wait for an exchange to suspend withdrawals before you start thinking about where your money is kept.
I am watching the situation closely and waiting for more verified information. Hopefully, users come out of this without losing their hard-earned money.
In crypto, protecting your capital is just as important as knowing how to make it.
Not your keys, not your coins. It is a lesson we keep learning, sometimes the hard way.
Shalom 🙏
Binance's initial investigation suggests that the security incident may involve a compromised DevOps engineer’s laptop, which allowed an attacker to gain access to a service container and submit unauthorized withdrawal transactions. We have found no evidence of any wallet private key leak. We will share a detailed technical post-mortem once the investigation is complete and the facts are fully verified.
The estimated total impact sits at around $6.3B. We have worked with blockchain partners to freeze affected assets, with ~$3 billion frozen on-chain so far.
Binance will cover all losses from the SAFU fund and the company’s funds. User funds are safe. We will also publish an updated Proof of Reserves once the remediation is complete.
As an immediate precaution, Binance has:
- temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals while security checks are completed;
- revoked the affected address authorisation;
- engaged law enforcement and blockchain intelligence partners to trace and recover funds.
Our teams are working around the clock to resolve this issue safely and thoroughly. We are working closely with our law enforcement partners to confirm the identity of these criminals and bring them to justice.
Please rely only on official Binance channels for updates. Please feel free to contact Binance Customer Support if you have any further questions.

Crypto Security is not Competition and Non-negotiable✅
Why can’t exchanges come together and build up a security loop against such ugly event.
Crypto Exchange hack is really killing the Morale of Crypto, 24th of September 2 months ago you @bitget you were literally panicking for same attack.
Kudos on the shared intelligence to funds recovery, but that isn’t enough, today’s Binance @binance is a blow to the Crypto ecosystem.

Wow, $1.8B frozen in minutes, indeed stablecoin issuers are the real MVPs here.
But let’s be real, wallets this large shouldn’t be able to get drained like this in the first place.
Hot wallet size is still a systemic risk.
❕Stay SAFU.
😭😂 Bring it on.......
Hacker currently selling 10s of millions of $PEPE.
$14M sold so far. Hacker still holds $20M more and is not stopping.
What We Know So Far (Oct 30)
❕Binance Incident..........✍️
Late on Oct 29, significant outflows began from wallets labeled as Binance hot wallets, starting around 20:24 UTC
Current on chain estimates put total linked movements between $3.3 to 5.8 billion across Ethereum, Bitcoin, Tron and other chains.
Ethereum alone accounts for roughly $3.5 billion in several tallies, the activity appears to involve an EIP 7702 delegation.
A private key tied to one of the wallets authorized a contract that then swept ETH and a large number of tokens.
The initiating address had previously received funds through Tornado Cash.
Tether and Circle responded quickly, freezing approximately $1.8 to 2.4 billion in USDT and USDC, while native assets such as ETH and BTC cannot be frozen in the same manner.
Binance has stated that user funds remain safe and that withdrawals are temporarily paused.
As part of the same security measures, Binance Alpha trading has also been temporarily suspended including CEX Buy Token and Alpha Instant.
Markets reacted with Bitcoin briefly trading under $80k and BNB declining sharply, liquidations were elevated.
This remains an active situation, no official loss figure or full technical post mortem has been released by Binance yet.
📌Always remember, this is a market of risk, position size accordingly and never risk more than you can afford to lose.

🚨 BREAKING 🚨
The Binance hack could trigger a much bigger market shock than we expect 📉📈
Two major crypto exchange hacks in just two months Bitget and today Binance, and we’ve seen the biggest altcoin sell-offs during Trump’s second term, and now another major crypto security breach and regulatory problem.
Democrats that oppose the CLARITY Act, will now leverage on this 💔💔💔
Trump’s promises to crypto are facing serious questions today, MAGA rules in a crypto market turmoil, and with U.S. midterm elections approaching, this could become political leverage for Democrats.
ARE YOU PREPARED FOR WHAT COMES NEXT, OR WILL THE BIG PLAYERS DUMP ON YOU FIRST?
The next few days could get ugly.

🚨 CRYPTO MARKET SNAPSHOT 🚨
The market is showing green, but the real question is whether the bulls can sustain the momentum. 👀📈
₿ BTC: $80,588.50 (+0.67%)
♦️ $CORE: $0.01717 (+2.14%)
◆ ETH: $2,332.38 (+0.38%)
☀️ SOL: $101.00 (+0.79%)
💎 GRAM: $1.219 (+0.58%)
$CORE is leading this group by percentage gain, while BTC remains the market heavyweight.
But remember: one green candle doesn't confirm a bullish reversal.
Are we witnessing the beginning of a recovery or just a temporary bounce?
👇 Tell me your honest market outlook.

JUST IN: Binance says $2,540,000,000 worth of stolen crypto has been frozen following major hack.
"This figure may continue to increase."
Actually, a large part of the treasury drop is explained by the Sept. 2026 reward accounting exploit and hard fork, where 186M $CORE was permanently removed from supply.
But the questions around unclaimed airdrops and the leftover from the 525M allocation are still valid.
Those need clearer public tracking.
Transparency is non negotiable.
The foremost & most critical issue with @Coredao_Org is lack of transparency. I have argued this with @26Whitepapers
So many questions beg for answer.
Where are the tokens, millions of #Core from unclaimed Airdrops, the left over from 525 million #Core
