पिछले 12 साल में मोदी सरकार ने सिस्टेमैटिक तरीके से हमारी सेनाओं को कमजोर किया।
इन्वेस्ट नहीं किया गया, मॉर्डनाइजेशन पर ध्यान नहीं दिया गया। सेना को कमजोर करने को अग्निवीर जैसी फर्जी स्कीम लाए। साथ ही जब सेनाओं को प्रधानमंत्री और सरकार से हौसलाअफजाई की दरकार थी, तब मोदी चीन को क्लीनचिट देते रहे, चीन के राष्ट्रपति का स्वागत करते रहे। मोदी ने देश और सेना को बहुत पीछे धकेल दिया है।
Don’t look at @raihanrvadra merely as the son of @priyankagandhi ji. Look at him as an artist and an individual whose freedom of expression deserves respect. Any attempt by the government to silence artistic voices or curb freedom of expression is highly condemnable.
History has shown us that dictators always target the same institutions and voices first — a free press, independent media, intellectuals, and artists. These are the pillars of a vibrant democracy, and attacking them is an attempt to weaken the very spirit of democracy.
But democracy is in India’s DNA, and so is our commitment to the Constitution. Such actions by the Modi government will not weaken the voices of dissent; they will only strengthen the people’s resolve to fight for their rights and freedoms.
What is even more disturbing is that, in a free country like India, merely showing a picture of protesters can apparently irritate those in power. Those protesters were not foreigners; they were Indian citizens, mostly Gen Z — our own youth, expressing their concerns and exercising their democratic rights.
A government that wants every voice, every image, and every opinion to reflect only its own perspective is undermining the very essence of democracy. Freedom of expression cannot be conditional upon the approval of those in power.
India may be witnessing an undeclared Emergency, but the spirit of democracy cannot be suppressed. Every such incident exposes the growing intolerance of the ruling establishment and reminds people why the fight to protect our Constitution, our freedoms, and our democratic values must continue.
The more the government tries to silence voices, the louder the demand for democracy becomes. These actions will only deepen public awareness and strengthen the resolve of those who refuse to surrender their constitutional rights.

आज अपनी विशना विधानसभा के पंचायत मुरालियां में RGPRS संगठन, जिला जम्मू के नवनियुक्त चेयरमैन श्री खुशवंत सिंह जी के सम्मान में आयोजित कार्यक्रम में शामिल हुआ। इस अवसर पर कांग्रेस परिवार के सभी साथियों से मुलाकात की और खुशवंत सिंह जी को नई जिम्मेदारी मिलने पर हार्दिक बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएं दीं।
इस दौरान हाल ही में भारी बारिश के कारण हमारे किसान भाइयों की फसलों को हुए भारी नुकसान पर भी चर्चा की। मैंने सरकार से मांग की कि प्रभावित किसानों के नुकसान का उचित आकलन करवाकर उन्हें जल्द से जल्द पर्याप्त मुआवजा दिया जाए, ताकि किसानों को इस मुश्किल समय में राहत मिल सके।
किसान हमारी अर्थव्यवस्था की रीढ़ हैं। उनके हक़ और सम्मान की लड़ाई कांग्रेस पार्टी हमेशा मजबूती से लड़ती रहेगी।

Delhi Police is refusing to register an FIR on the assault of our students.
Two young women, Athira from Kerala and Ritu from Rajasthan, along with many others, were beaten by Delhi Police.
I have spoken to Kerala Home Minister Ramesh Chennithala and Rajasthan PCC President Govind Singh Dotasra. A Zero FIR has already been registered in Kerala. We will pursue every legal route against the officers responsible, in Kerala, in Rajasthan and in the courts.
Brutality by Amit Shah's Delhi Police will not go unchecked.
In 1930, at Dharasana, Sarojini Naidu led unarmed satyagrahis into police lathis. Not one of them raised a hand. The world watched.
Police can break bones. They cannot break a satyagraha.
India's youth, especially young women, are fearless, determined and united. They are standing up for our democracy, and I stand with them.

पंजाब में नशे के ख़िलाफ़ आवाज़ उठाना अब जानलेवा हो गया है। और यह भगवंत मान की AAP सरकार के राज में हो रहा है।
मानसा: 'नशा रोको, रोज़गार दो' अभियान चलाने वाले परविंदर सिंह झोटा को दिनदहाड़े गोली मार दी गई जो एक फ़ेसबुक लाइव पर साफ़ दिखी।
संगरूर - मुख्यमंत्री का अपना ज़िला: मज़दूर गुलज़ार सिंह ने मंत्री के सामने गाँव में नशे का सवाल उठाया। परिवार का आरोप है कि उसके बाद उन पर माफ़ी माँगने का दबाव डाला गया। उन्होंने अपनी जान दे दी।
संगरूर: नशे के ख़िलाफ़ बोलने वाले मोहनजीत सिंह पर हिरासत में यातना के आरोप - मामला अब हाईकोर्ट में है।
और झोटा की कहानी में एक बात और है। जब उन्होंने शिकायत की, तो FIR हुई और पुलिस ने बाद में झोटा को भी बुक कर दिया।
जिस सरकार में शिकायत करने वाला भी मुलज़िम बन जाए, वहाँ नशे के सौदागर बेख़ौफ़ क्यों न हों?
CM भगवंत मान जवाब दें: नशे के ख़िलाफ़ लड़ने वालों की हिफ़ाज़त कौन करेगा?
पंजाब के युवाओं का भविष्य तबाह करने वाले इस नशे के साम्राज्य को ख़त्म किए बिना कांग्रेस चैन से नहीं बैठेगी।

सुबह के 4 बजे। जब दुनिया सो रही थी, तब अंकिता भंडारी के माता-पिता को हिरासत में ले लिया गया।
उनका गुनाह? वे इंडिया गेट पर चुपचाप बैठे थे - बोझिल कंधों के साथ, बिना किसी हंगामे के और सिर्फ़ इतना माँग रहे थे कि CBI जाँच पूरी होने तक दुष्यंत गौतम को सिक्किम का राज्यपाल न बनाया जाए।
कल मैं और प्रियंका इन माता-पिता से मिले थे।
जिस जाँच का नतीजा आया नहीं, उसके पहले ही नियुक्ति की जल्दी और सवाल पूछने वाले माँ-बाप को रात के अंधेरे में उठा लिया गया।
इस सरकार की पहचान यही है: पीड़ितों की आवाज़ दबा दो, सवाल करने वालों को हटा दो।
पर न्याय की लड़ाई न दबेगी, न रुकेगी।
कांग्रेस अंकिता भंडारी के परिवार के साथ खड़ी है, और खड़ी रहेगी - जब तक उन्हें न्याय नहीं मिलता।
