Nehemiah “Poppa” Floyd

Two cornerbacks making noise early: Jeremiah Polusme (@Jeremiahpolusme) and Nehemiah Floyd (@NehemiahFloyd25). Their film and production have caught my attention as premier Class of 2030 freshmen in South Florida. I’ll review more film over the next three weeks to see who else stands out. That’s the benefit of staying proactive with Rising Stars—sharing film and updates gives me a chance to recognize your performance in real time.

Congratulations to the Rising Stars Freshmen of the Month in South Florida! These freshmen have stood out at the varsity level among players across Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, and Monroe counties. Cornerback Nehemiah Floyd (@NehemiahFloyd25) is already in his second varsity season after leading all eighth graders in Florida with four interceptions last year. Athlete Gregory Florence (@GflorenceNIL) also saw varsity action last season, totaling 642 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns. @SWiltfong_ @ChadSimmons_ @adamgorney @samspiegs @BrandonHuffman @Spiewak @Zack_Poff_MP @Andy_Villamarzo @Corey_Bender @Blake_Alderman @JeremyO_Johnson @AnnaH247 @BlairAngulo @ZBlostein247 @BrianDohn247 @CKennedy247 @TomLoy247 @MikeRoach247 @BSonnone @benjaminwolk @GabyUrrutia247

Congratulations to the Rising Stars Top 10 Freshmen of the Week in South Florida, presented by Rising Stars! Florida Christian CB @NehemiahFloyd25 (6’0, 160), (Selected every week) the younger brother of former Arkansas cornerback Cornelius Floyd. @SWiltfong_ @ChadSimmons_ @adamgorney @samspiegs @BrandonHuffman @Spiewak @Zack_Poff_MP @Andy_Villamarzo @Corey_Bender @Blake_Alderman @JeremyO_Johnson @AnnaH247 @BlairAngulo @ZBlostein247 @BrianDohn247 @CKennedy247 @TomLoy247 @MikeRoach247 @BSonnone @benjaminwolk @GabyUrrutia247

Florida Christian School (FL) 30’ CB Nehemiah Floyd (@NehemiahFloyd25) Floyd is ready for Year 2 on varsity. As an 8th grader, Floyd led all eighth-grade varsity players in the state of Florida on varsity with 4 interceptions, while not allowing a single touchdown all season. His outstanding play earned him a selection to the RNR All-American Game and the Dade vs. Broward 8th Grade All-Star Game, where he started both games at cornerback. Floyd has already picked up 4 Division I offers. Now standing a legitimate 6-foot-0, Floyd was also ranked as the No. 2 overall player on the Rising Stars 8th Grade All-South Florida Team on Varsity and also the No. 1 overall 8th Grade defensive player in South Florida on varsity last season. One of the nation’s premier young defensive backs, Nehemiah Floyd is a name every college coach should have on their radar this upcoming season.
