What she said
By the way, if someone finds a way to bypass Twitters restrictions, or they by the goodness of their own hearts disable it, chances are that NeoFreeBird will return - which is why I said it’s on hiatus and not abandoned.
Personally, I suggest using @ControlPanelFT.
NeoFreeBird versions v7.3.0 and v6.10.0 are out! Here's what's new and changed!

Known Issues
- The tweet source label option has been removed again since X removed the endpoint we used for it. Unless someone can find another endpoint, consider this option dead for good.
- The "Keep navigation bar visible" option doesn't work on Liquid Glass

As always, source and my Ko-Fi are linked below. Thank you all for the support!

I'll post a separate branch on the GitHub repo soon for this split-view branch. If anyone with a Duo and knowledge of Objective-C is willing to add support for the unfolded Duo, ping me (@orionblur) and I'll talk about what I've learned from the implementation.
If you're having issues on a v7 build with your entire app lagging, try this build. I made a few changes which should hopefully optimize loading. Just make sure to log out of every account and do a fresh install before installing this build though.

Anybody else having problems with everything loading super slow on 7.2? Tried it with a fresh install too but same result. 7.1.1 works fine. iOS 26.2/Feather

Looks like they compiled it with 27.1, hopefully I can make a release soon!

no i don't think so! i think if you release a new version based on the latest upstream version, it'll all be fine

Nah, I think everyone should have access to it.
(This will come to @NeoFreeBird soon, my code is just complete shit right now.)
I (@orionblur) want to make a quick recap about what’s changed with NeoFreeBird, specifically, why there's a v6 and a v7.
TLDR: Use v6 if you stuck with OG NFB, use v7 if unsure about what I'm saying. Both have the same features, but I'll explain what's changed below.

What does this mean for you, an average NFB user? Honestly not much, just be aware that some minor bugs may still be on v7, while v6 is more stable, albeit impossible to get to for new users (unless jailbroken). If you're unsure what to install, just install v7.
