Ima be so real, and yall can be mad asf about if you want. If you call yourself an Elder Scrolls fan and skip out on ESO, you ain't a real one.
Gameplay is mid, bit yall still play Morrowind so you aint got no room for tears on that. You owe it to yourself to explore Tamriel.
That deleted post perfectly encapsulates the attitude I've been talking about. βI'm paid to give my opinion, you're notβ isn't some devastating rebuttal. It's an incredibly arrogant way of saying, βMy views carry weight because I'm paid to express them, yours don't.β
Being a professional commentator doesn't grant you immunity from criticism. Quite the opposite: if you're going to make a living telling people what you think, you have to accept that they'll have something to say about it.
You recently lamented the growing hostility in your replies, yet turn around and effectively tell your audience that their opinions count for nothing because you're the one getting paid. Perhaps the problem isn't the bots and engagement farmers you're so keen to blame.

Ah this takes me back. Glad to see the BGS modding scene is still just as insane and petty as it was back in my day.
Jokrs aside, fuck that guy and I hope Skyblivion doesnt get sucked down a blackhole over it. Assholes like that always wait until a project hits a point of no return towards launch then suddenly lose their minds thinking theyre irreplacable and can commandeer a project.

I was gonna go on a bigger rant here but Iβll just say this. Ryanβs comment came off as elitist here, and I think he knows it.
The bigger your voice becomes in this space the more responsibility you have. It means more people come to you and listen, and they like what youβve said in the past to hit follow in the first place.
That doesnβt mean the guy with 50 followers canβt have a great opinion or their criticism isnβt valid.
But on the flip side the bigger you get the more trolls and random, unnecessary hate gets thrown your way so it can definitely be frustrating dealing with people like that. Comes with the territory though so you gotta learn to deal with it.

Microsoft has spent years promoting backwards compatibility and digital library continuity as major XBOX selling points, encouraging customers to invest in an ecosystem built to span generations. Now imagine that ecosystem being abandoned. Your existing console might continue working and your library remain accessible, but the platform effectively has an expiry date. Hardware eventually fails, components become harder to source, services change and compatibility becomes increasingly difficult to maintain. Your games havenβt necessarily disappeared overnight, but the long-term value of your investment has been compromised.
And where does that leave the tens of millions of customers whoβve spent decades building digital libraries, accumulating thousands of games, achievements and purchases across four generations? There is no straightforward migration to PlayStation, no universal licence transfer and no realistic way to preserve every purchase. Refunds would be extraordinarily costly and complicated, while simply maintaining ageing hardware would only postpone the inevitable.
Then consider the damage to consumer trust, the alienation of a fiercely loyal customer base and the message it sends to future customers, developers and hardware partners. Microsoft would be surrendering direct control of its platform and becoming increasingly dependent on competitors to distribute its games.
This isnβt simply a question of selling more software on PlayStation. Itβs about dismantling an entire ecosystem, devaluing decades of customer investment and potentially inflicting lasting damage on a brand that took 25 years to build. The commercial consequences extend far beyond whatever additional software revenue a third-party strategy might generate.
Gene the GOAT
He probably hunted down the hacker and wrestled his account back with his bare hands like Liam Neeson in Taken. Legend

if you subscribe to Xbox Game Pass and a game is available in the service then thatβs how youβll access said game
there isnβt nor should there be an expectation that you also purchase the game

Tis the season of giving back. Here's a list of YouTubers from my community you NEED to follow now youtu.be/6rxCaDkfC74
We've got a bunch of great folks who have supported me over the past five years (almost!) of doing this full-time, and many of them are partially monetized or on the cusp of being fully monetized on YouTube, and I'd like to give them a boost before the new rules go into place in February.
Do me a solid and share this out to your communities across social media as well! (p.s. tagged who I could find or who permitted tagging on X)

Few things bring gamers together like dunking on hack sites like Polygon, The Gamer, Kotaku, etc.
I love it

One thing that always annoys me in sci-fi is that the aliens are all vaguely humanoid - I understand this is for budget reasons (and to make the normies sympathise)
But there's so much interesting potential with truly alien beings. In the real world we actually have fungal slime that can solve computationally difficult problems on pure evolutionary instinct and no intellect.
That's just what we have in our backyard! Imagine a whole universe of alternate evolutionary paths.
Aliens would have truly incomprehensible shapes and ways to understand the world.

"Gears should have been multiplat to make more sales!"
I'm down for that, so lets also make Yotei, Wolverine, Saros, Astro Bot multiplat as well, since they should also make more sales
Or are we not being consistent?
Ah yes, because the AAA space is absolutely swimming in games called βSentinelβ
Quick question: can you even name ONE recent AAA game that has used it?
Some of you all are being absolutely insufferable
