The kind of migration that Zcash is going to execute this summer to post-quantum ready, formally verified , supply verified cryptography is something every cryptocurrency will have to do in next 3 years and Zcash will do it all in a month or so.

Hundreds of wallets (many of which haven't been active in 7+ years) just got drained by the same address on ETH mainnet
Seems like a new live exploit, worth flagging
Funds left my wallet to this address. Not sure what the vulnerability surface is. Others are getting zeroed out as well. Mainnet ETH only and strangely SAI:

3D models are finally available on EloShapes!
This has been the most requested feature since launch, but due to time and resource limitations, I was unable to add it for a long time. That has changed. Last month, I left my full-time job to work on EloShapes instead. Since then, I have spent all my available time improving the site. Among other things, I have finally been able to buy a quality 3D scanner, gather more mice, and build a 3D comparison feature for EloShapes.
Not every mouse on EloShapes has a 3D model yet, but I am working hard to get my hands on as many mice as possible, with the help of various brands that have either sent me products or official 3D models.
I have already scanned many mice, but there are still many that I own and have not had time to add yet. Even more mice are on the way, so the availability of 3D models will grow fast over the coming months.
When EloShapes launched, it only included 200 mice. Today, it has nearly 1,500 and continues to grow. I will be working even harder than before to provide outlines for more mice, while also adding as many 3D models as possible. This will take time, and it is something I will continue working on for years to come.
Thank you to everyone who has supported EloShapes so far. I never would have expected it to get this far, and now that I am fully dedicated to EloShapes, I have no plans of slowing down.
I hope you enjoy the new 3D models on EloShapes!
All this just to boil more water 😭

The creator of ChatGPT is named "Altman," as in "alternative to human" and he leads OpenAI, which is completely closed.
His main opponent is the company Anthropic, meaning "human-centered" is led by "Amodei," as in "loves gods".
Then there's "Gemini," meaning "two-faced," from a company that said that it will do no evil.
Brilliant work as always Kojima!

Pete Hegseth said this was "the first sinking of an enemy ship by a torpedo since WWII" (which is false, but that's beside the point), so I decided to look at what happened in WW2 and... this might surprise no-one: turns out the Nazis were more humane than the Americans.
Probably the most abject part here is that the warship had many survivors - 32 to be precise (apnews.com/article/sri-lanka…) - and the U.S. made zero effort to rescue them, despite it being required by the laws of naval warfare and simply being the honorable thing to do.
It took little Sri-Lanka, with its very modest means - especially compared to the $1 trillion US defense budget - to do the honorable thing and launch a (successful) rescue operation.
Even the literal Nazis, during WW2, rescued the survivors of ships their U-boats sank. It was considered a matter of basic honor.
The history of this is actually interesting: the Nazis rescued survivors all the way until the so-called Laconia Incident in 1942 (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laconi…).
The Laconia was a British troopship sunk by U-156, a German U-boat, off the West African coast. Right after the sinking, the Nazis immediately began rescuing over 400 survivors, broadcasting - as was common practice - in plain English their position on open radio channels to all Allied powers nearby, so they wouldn't get attacked during the rescue.
That's when a US B-24 "Liberator" bomber attacked the submarine anyway, even though all the rescued survivors were on its foredeck. The B-24 killed dozens of Laconia's survivors with bombs and strafing attacks, forcing U-156 to cast into the sea the remaining survivors that she had rescued and crash dive to avoid being destroyed.
The American B-24 pilots mistakenly reported they had sunk U-156, and were awarded medals for bravery...
This event completely changed Nazi policy on this matter: Karl Dönitz, commander of the U-boat fleet, issued the "Laconiarefehl" - the Laconia Order - forbidding U-boats from rescuing survivors, because the risk to the submarine was now too high.
In other words, the Americans during WW2 essentially forced the Nazis to abandon survivors - from the allied side (!) - at sea.
Dönitz at least had an excuse.
This Iranian warship thought it was safe in international waters. It wasn't.
The @DeptofWar is fighting to win. 🇺🇸

Toto isn't even the most extreme example: Ajinomoto makes MSG. Their amino acid research produced the insulating substrate in virtually every high-end GPU. 95% global monopoly. In 2021 the chip shortage bottleneck wasn't silicon, it was Ajinomoto's film. Japan holds majority share in 14 critical semiconductor materials. The sintering process that creates a non-porous toilet is the same one that creates a contamination-free wafer chuck. The most critical layer of AI infrastructure is controlled by companies that make toilets, MSG, and window glass.
